She put the last piece of the flower hairpin on both side of her styled hair. She decided to do the daenggi-meori style for tonight's gala.

*Daenggi-mori: the hair was parted at the front and braided into long pigtails at the back. Daenggi was tied at the end of the braid. Usually wears by unmarried women in Joseon Era.

She recalled when Min Hyun offered her to partner up with him at the gala, saying that she could dressed as his wife. And she clearly remembered how he nervously said the word wife to her.

Unfortunately, she had to turned down the offer. Not, that she didn't want to go with him, but, Jinyoung asked her first to be his partner at the gala, because his crush, Jungyeon from finance, turned him down. So yeah, as the best mate she always is, Chaeyoung said yes to him.

Jin Young said they were going to dressed as siblings, and that's why Chaeyoung did the daenggi-mori style instead of the Jjeokjin-meori style.

*Jjeokjin-meori: the hair was pulled into a bun at the nape of the neck and the wig was usually used to make the bun bigger. Wears by married women.

She still feel bad for turning Min Hyun's offer, she hopes that Min Hyun will find a date to the gala tonight.

Chaeyoung took one last look in the mirror, checking herself before she head outside. While Jin Young was just arrived to pick her up.

The hanbok she was wearing have two color tone. The jacket was white with red ribbon and the skirt was bright pink. It was a hanbok of a girl from noble family. Kudos to Yuju who told her where to rent cute yet ellegant hanbok.

After she approved her look in the mirror, she rushed downstairs where Jin Young was waiting for her.

"Whoah, my little sister is looking good." Jin Young complimented her. He himself was dressed in a violet satine robe with white outer.

Chaeyoung smiled, "Thank you, Orabeoni, you look surprisingly good too in an ancient Joseon attire."

*Orabeoni: Formal honorifcs women use to address older man or their older brother. More formal form of Oppa.

"Yah, aren't we going to draw attention as we walked in? Because, I'm pretty sure both of us might be the most wanted bachelor in Joseon." Jin Young said. And Chaeyoung was just laughing on their way out of her place.

They got into Jin Young's car and drive to the venue.

Soon as they arrived, they could hear the sound of gayageum and violin strings. And of course, they could smell the five star cuisine from the buffet.
