Having one week before the family actually had a good flight to take to Amsterdam they really didn't bother to unpack their clothes except for the kids because they need to. Jordie was cooking while Pap was gaming with a few friends online while the kids were napping.
Ruby was with melody talking with her and helping her design costumes for an upcoming play that was in the town before they left. The dragon like girl looked to her friend seeing a peek of the notebook she was drawing the costumes in "W-wow melody they look so pretty"
Melody giggles "Thanks ruby I just hope the director likes them" she lifts up the notebook looking at them.
Ruby was twiddling with her fingers "H-hey ruby can I ask you a favor?"
"sure what is it?"
"I w-was wondering if you c-could help me record a s-song I-I-I'm doing"
"Yeah I don't ruby but you owe me"
"okay..."
"What's the song for?"
"umm.. j-just someone I admire" ruby rubs the back of her neck.
Melody smirks "is it for lynx~?" she knew that her cousin had a crush on the feral bitty.
Ruby turned dark red "J-j-just start the camera melody!"
Melody rolled her eyes playfully and presses the record button on the camera.

Ruby breathes out and starts her song

With the camera off melody clapped for her cousin "that was very good ruby you have a great singing voice. Maybe you could join in one of the plays I'm working in"
Ruby shakes her head "No no no no no no no. I can't sing in front of large crowds"
"alright I was just suggesting. So when are you going to show this to Lynx?"
"Never! If he sees this he might not like me anymore"
Melody sighed and put an arm around her "Ruby I'm sure he'll still like you even after hearing this. How about you show him on the last day you're here before leaving?"
"I-I-I don't know.. Maybe"
Melody smiled "Okay and don't worry when you do I'll be right there to help you Ruby"
"Can mommy be to?"
"Um sure if you want uncle cherry to be with you"
Ruby smiled "yes please."
