Faye quickly walked into Jake's apartment and put down her bag, in fear that her father was still moody. She sat down on the couch and pulled out her binder and started doing the homework that was assigned.  Fawkes mewed and Faye jumped in surprise.

"Fawkes! You nearly scared the living daylights out of me!" Faye shouted. She picked up her cat and started petting him. "You know, sooner or later we're gonna have to go back home buddy." Faye says as she puts Fawkes back down on the ground and started to work on her homework once again. I don't deserve any special kind of treatment. I especially don't deserve this. Faye thought to herself.

In the back room, Jake woke up his eyes still refusing to open. Ugh, what time is it? Jake thought to himself as he pushed himself up off of the bed. He looked at the time on his clock and the number flashed 5:45. Shoot, Faye's here. Jake thought to himself as he threw on a pair of different pants and a t-shirt. He overheard her say something about leaving soon, and he started to worry.

"Hey, Faye, are you hungry?" Jake asked as he stretches once he enters the living room. Faye jumped around to face him.

"No, not really. I have to finish up this work and then go to the diner shortly." Faye said with a smile. She quickly finished up the last question and started putting on her shirt and pants that are required by the diner. "I'll see you soon." Faye said as she headed out the door.

---

The men who were outside in the alleyway followed Faye to the diner and quickly sat down in a booth that kept Faye in their line of sight.

"Hello, my name is Faye. What do you guys want to drink?" Faye asked as she pulled out her waitress book. She quickly took their orders and headed back to get the drinks.

"Ezekiel, make sure that when it comes around closing time you get her alone." One of the men said. Ezekiel nodded his head and the group patiently waited for the diner to lock up.

Once the diner was starting to lock up, Ezekiel headed to the kitchen where Faye was.

"Excuse me, miss. I was just wondering if you knew how to get this stain out." Ezekiel said as he approached Faye. She grabbed some soda water and dabbed at the stain. Ezekiel quickly took out a rag that was laced with chloroform and put it over Faye's mouth. "Goodnight, Faye Helms." Ezekiel said as Faye passed out.

Jake was starting to get worried so he headed down to the diner. He saw that the closed sign was up on the door, but Faye was nowhere in sight. His phone buzzed in his pocket and he quickly put in his lock code to reveal the message.

If you ever want to see your precious "girlfriend" again, you'll come to the park at 2:00 am on Friday....alone.-A
