Jake’s nerves were just itching to punch this guy straight in his jawline, except there were about ten of his men, and only one of Jake.

“I’m not going to ask the simple question of what do I have to do, but I’m just going to say that if you screw around with me, I swear…” Ezekiel’s laughter destroyed the Jake’s serious tone.

“You’ll what? Pummel me into oblivion? Make sure that I’ll never be able to walk again? You see these threats are totally useless. The other guys this has happened to have already made these threats and well you see.” Ezekiel pressed a button on the remote and one of the walls swiveled around and revealed two guys hanging from chains. Both of the men seemed to have many gashes on their stomach and chest, they were obviously weak but Jake could tell that Ezekiel had been giving the men just enough food and water to keep mercilessly torturing the two men.

“You’re a monster. No one should ever encounter you ever!” Faye screamed. Jake looked at her for the first time since he came into the building. She looked weak, although it was only three days of waiting for Jake it seemed like Faye had to wait for eternity. Her eyes had obvious bags and seemed that just a few hours ago were swollen because of endless crying. She was clean, and Jake figured that was only because Ezekiel was selling her body.

“Shut the tramp up.” Ezekiel said with a hateful tone. One of the guys who was holding her pulled out duct tape and put it over her mouth. “Now, I see that you’re intelligent enough to know that I want more than you to just come and get Faye off my hands. I want you to retrieve this man for me.” Ezekiel said as he pulled out a picture from his coat pocket. Jake meticulously studied the picture. It was obvious to him who this man was. It was Faye’s father. He couldn’t bring himself up to actually bringing this man, although he was a terrible father, to this…villain.

“What did he do?” Jake asked. He was growing more impatient and just wanted to take Faye to the bus or the apartment. Anywhere but this pigsty. He wanted Faye to be safe, and he wanted to protect her.

“Let’s just say he borrowed too much and didn’t pay it all back.” Ezekiel said. Ezekiel turned to leave and motioned for his men to follow. The men threw Faye on the ground and followed Ezekiel into the darkness. “Let’s make a deal, Mr. Prince Charming.” Ezekiel said as Jake heard the slam of the doors.
