It was dark. Very dark! I was standing all alone in the woods. Where had he gone? He promised me that he would come! That was unfortunately two hours ago.

I'm sorry guys, I should start from the beginning.

The story began on a Friday, the last day of school. I've been waiting for summer all year! I parked the car, got my schoolbag and started heading for the school building when I got tackled by Maggy: my ABSOLUTE best friend. We both go way back. We've known each other since we were baby's. So yeah, we've done literally everything together.
"Hey Hayl. Any plans for the weekend? I've heard there's gonna be a big party with all the cool kids. Including Jacob." - okay, I think you guys should know that I had a crush on Jacob in the 9th grade and since then Maggy can't stop - " yeah," I said. "Still remember my boyfriend?" Maggy giggled. "Yeah, that guy." I smiled. We entered the classroom and sat down. "Hey babe." I turned around and looked into the prettiest brown eyes I have ever seen. Ayden, whom they belonged to, also known as my boyfriend and the most popular guy in school, bend forward and gently gave me a kiss. "Are you coming to the party?" I was just about to answer when Mr. Hodges entered the classroom. Everyone immediately turned quiet. "Hello class," he said. "As you know, today is your last school day before the summer holidays." He paused. "Mr. Blake, even you may now shut your mouth!" Cody, a good friend of Maggy's and mine, slowly turned around.
After long and very tiering hours school was finally over. Hello summer holidays!!
I was standing at the school gates waiting for Maggy as I suddenly felt warm arms from behind slowly touching my waist and the warm breath near my neck. "Hey babe." I leaned my head on his chest. "Any plans?" Ayden asked. I turned around and gave him a kiss. "Unfortunately yes," I said. " I'm waiting for Maggy so that we can go to the city to do a little bit of celebration-of-summer-holiday-shopping." "Well, too bad. Cause I had something else planned. In my new apartment." I rolled my eyes, smiling. Ayden recently bought himself a new apartment plus a new car (his parents are super rich) and now can't stop bragging about it. I find it super cute. "Maybe I'll visit you later, okay?"
I didn't want him to feel bad. "Sure."
"Hey, you two love birds. Hayl, 'you ready for shopping," Maggy said, waiving her bag. "Okay, let's go. Goodbye-" but Ayden had already been shuved away by the mass of students that had just come out of the building.

(After four, fun hours of shopping:)

"How's your mom, your new step dad and your hot stepbrother?" Maggy asked, trying to start the car. "I still can't believe how you two can live under the same roof without ending up in the bedroom at least twice a week." Finally she was able to start her very old car and we drove out of the mall parking lot. "Oh, come on," I said, laughing.

-quick catch-up: one month ago my mom married my stepdad Michael, who has a 21 year old son named Jaxon.
Jaxon is that kind of guy that brings home at least three girls a week. I once wished to be one of them until I met Ayden about a half a year ago. Of course I've seen him every now and then in school but I really got to know him during a party on the 14th of September. He was sitting by the pool, had just been dumped by Cara the school bitch and so I went and sat next to him and, believe me, that took me alot of courage! I can't remember everything that happened that night but I do have to say the days after that were pretty amazing. So, yeah, that's how we got to know each other. Kinda like every normal highschool-romance- story.
So much to quick catch-up.
What you guys should know though is that Jaxon has blue green eyes and dark messy hair just like his father. He goes to the gym like everyday and is either very sleepy or has a hangover. He can't wait to finally move out so that he can avoid the whole family stuff. -

I pulled out my phone and started texting. I opened up Instagram and started looking at the different pictures and comments as I noticed a comment from 'jaxon_mc' underneath a picture with a very attractive young lady that had blond, long hair. She was sitting at a Starbucks table, holding her coffee and wearing huge sunglasses and a sexy, black top. He had commented: 'ly'(=love you). Urgh! There was that feeling again. That weird feeling of jealousy in my stomach that came everytime I saw him together with another girl. The problem was: I didn't want to feel that way, because I was happy with Ayden whom I really, absolutely adore!

Maggy tore me out of my thoughts. "What's up," she said. "You've been awfully quiet. What are you looking at anyway?" Maggy bent over to see but I turned my phone off just in the right moment. "Nothing's up," I said. But as you know Maggy's my best friend and best friends always knows when something's not right. "Oh, no," she said. " Please don't tell me that Jaxon has anything to do with it." "Alright, fine," I said leaning my head against the window. "I can't get him out of my head. The way he looks, the way he always has my back when I come home to late, the way he cares for me. Even just being in the room turns my stomach upside-down. The problem is Ayden. Ayden is just so cute...and come on, dating one of the cool kids? Isn't that what every girl wants? If I could only sit with them in the cafeteria." "Girl, get yourself together. It's either the cool kid or the bad boy. You know I'll take the other one." We both looked at each other and smiled. "I'm always there for you. No matter if you pick Jaxon or Ayden. I will appreciate either one." " Thanks," I said. I went on Spotify and picket out some music. Then I turned on Bluetooth, connected my phone with Maggy's radio and played our favorite playlist. Soon we both were singing so loud, we forgot that boys even existed.
