I heard the phone ringing and opened my eyes. Why is everything so loud!? I felt my head. Ouch! I had a blasting headache. I looked around and found myself lying in Jaxon's bed...again. Why does this always happen when we get drunk. We should really be more careful, I thought. I got up and put on a t-shirt and a pair of jogging shorts. Then I walked downstairs. Mom came walking towards me. She looked shocked. "What is it mom!?" "Hayley, they found Maggy laying on a dirtpath bleeding. They rushed her to the hospital this morning and found out that she had an alcohol intoxication!" I stood their, my mouth and my eyes wide open and didn't know what to say. Without thinking I turned around and ran upstairs tears running down my cheek out of shock. I put on my glasses, didn't care to put on makeup at all, ran into Jaxon's room to get my phone and back down the stairs. I got my car keys and raced out of the door, not caring how I looked like. This wasn't about me! All I had running through my head was "I have to get to my friend as quickly as possible!" I was amazed that I wasn't stopped by a police because of driving so fast.

I arrived fifteen minutes later at the hospital and asked at the reception for Maggy. "She is still in the intensive care. I'll check if visitors are allowed in. I was so anxious I didn't know what to do. Then the lady from the reception came back and showed me the way in. As soon as I saw Maggy I ran to her as fast as I could. Her mom and dad were sitting by her side. "Oh Maggy!" I said and nelt down next to her clutching her hand. She smiled weakly. "What in the world did you do!?" Her hand was covered in a cast. Maggy's mom told me that she had bruised her hand (no one knew how) and that the doctors had to pump out her stomach. I looked back at Maggy. "I'm so glad that you're okay. I mean, that nothing worse happened." I heard the door open once more and Jaxon walked in. He came over to us and looked at Maggy, his face shocked. "I heard what happened! I hope she's okay." "Yeah it looks like it. She bruised her hand and the doctors had to pump out her stomach. She's still to weak to talk." Jaxon nodded. "I'm so sorry but I have to go to work -(Starbucks)- I just wanted to check up on her. Should I drive you home, Hayley?" "Thanks, but I would like to still stay here until I'm convinced that I can leave her alone. And if that's okay with her parents." I looked over and they nodded. "Okay then. Hope you get well soon, Maggy. Bye." I gave him a quick wave and watched him leave.

It was around 7pm as I got home. Maggy was moved to a single room. In the end I just sat there talking to Maggy and she managed a smile every now and then.

I walked over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. What should I eat? I decided to make myself a sandwich. While making it I heard the house door open and close and saw Jaxon walk into the kitchen. "How's Maggy?" He sat down next to me and I told him. "Well, that's a relief." He said after I was finished and then snatched a grape out of the fruit bowl I had just made myself. "Hey," I said and held his hand tight. He laughed while trying to wriggle his hand out of my grip. I tried taking the grape away and we resled playfully. Then suddenly our faces were so close our noses almost touched. I looked up into his eyes and felt his lips moving closer and closer until they softly touched mine. We started kissing. I closed my eyes and laid my hands around his neck. He started moving down to my neck. It felt surprisingly good. Then he lifted me up and dragged me upstairs into his room. Yeah, the next part....well, I think you know what happened next.

We stopped as soon as we heard someone come upstairs. Then suddenly their was a knock. "Quick," Jaxon whispered I jumped out of the bed, quickly putting on one of the T-Shirts that was lying around and hid under the bed. "Who is it?" Jaxon hastily put on some jogging shorts and sat back down on his bed quickly pulling out his phone. "It's me, dad." "What do you want?" "Do you maybe know where Hayley is and who that sandwich and fruit bowl belongs to downstairs?" "I think she's in the bathroom so I wouldn't bother her and the sandwich also belongs to her." I heard the door open and saw Michael's feet. "Okay, thanks. Alison and I are gonna go to the doctor cause she started having pains in her side hip so could you maybe tell that to Hayley?" "Okay." I waited until the footsteps walked down the stairs and crepped out from under the bed. "That was close."
