The next morning after breakfast mom and Michael came into hospital room to take me back to the hotel. It was hard for me to walk at first because I had been lying the whole time. We packet my stuff together and slowly walked to the car. Mom was supporting me by holding my arm so that I wouldn't fall over. As we were in the car we started driving out of the parking lot. It was all alot for my brain to take in. Back at the hotel mom cleaned and exchanged the bandages just as the doctor said, helped me on to the bed so that I could rest and ordered room service.

It had now been three weeks after my 'accident'. My wounds had recover quit well. The only problem was: the happening haunted me in my sleep. I had restless nights and always woke up shaking while sweat ran down my forehead. Moreover I was scared alone. I always had to have someone by my side or watching me. Except for when I was in my room. There I felt safe.

Now, I was sitting in my room Skyping with Maggy. She always knew how to cheer someone up. "Tell me the story with the necklace again. Even more detailed. How did his hands exactly feel like?" I laughed. "Maggy stop!" She also started laughing. "Okay, okay fine. But I can tell you're blushing." I covered my cheeks with my hands. Then someone knocked at the door. "Come in." The door opened and Jaxon stood there not quit sure what to say. "Hey," he said. "I think I forgot my earphones that night I looked for that necklace." I looked around. "They should be lying there somewhere." I pointed at the small table in the entrance. "If not," I added. "Feel free to look around." They weren't on the table. So, he started looking. "Hey, I'm Maggy." I turned my head back to the screen. Jaxon looked up. He gave her a quick smile and went on searching for those earphones. "Thanks for giving her the necklace."
Jaxon was now looking on the nightstand. Then looked up. "No problem. Okay, found them. Thanks Hayl." Maggy looked at me and raised her eyebrows. Then smiled. "Any time." I watched the door close and then turned to Maggy. She couldn't believe it. "He actually called you Hayl!? He really does like you!" I shook my head. "I think he sees me more like a little sister. I don't think he actually likes me the way you imagine it."
There was a knock at the the door again. This time the person didn't wait until I answered and burst in. "Hayley, you need to help me! Oh...hi Maggy. Is this a bad time?" "Hi Mrs. W. No, I think I'll go. Buy Hayl. Nice talking to you." Her face disappeared.

"Mom, what's the matter!?" Mom sat down on my bed. Her face was slightly pail.
"I....I...this wasn't expected and I don't want to bother you with this, because of what happened two weeks ago. I just don't know what to do. I was afraid of going to Michael....he sometimes doesn't know how to handle situations like this. And Jaxon... we're not close at all. We actually never really talked. He always sits in his room and listens to music." I stood up and sat down next to mom. Then took her hand and laid it into mine. "Mom," I said calmly. She was totally beside herself. "Mom. Take a deep breath." I saw a tear roll down her cheek. "Take a deep breath," I repeated. "Mom, please don't start to cry." "I know. I also don't want to cry infront of you." "No. Don't say that. Of course you may cry infront of me!" I didn't know what to do. If mom cried then usually something really bad or something really good happened.
I could see that mom tried to take a deep breath. She calmed down and soon was able to talk without having to cry. "Do you now want to tell me what's going on?" "Promise me you won't freak out?" "Mom, what is it?" She took a deep breath.
"Hayley...I'm... I'm pregnant."
