Thank you, thank you, thank you! To all your lovely comments and everyone voting and reading! I swear it was only a week ago I was on 60 votes and 3000 reads! It honestly makes me smile so much!

The rest of the day went on excruciatingly slowly. Beau came home at around 10 and we went out for a light lunch down at a little cafe on the beach. It was rather nicely furnished, with dramatic sketches off the sea outside and little wooden seats painted in a pastel blue. The tables were layed out evenly across the room with a single white Plumeria in the middle of each one. (Note to reader - Wondering what a Plumeria looks like? See image to the right, such a beautiful Hawiian flower:)

Ben rang several times but with Beau around I didnt want to answer.

"Whos that?" he asks, pointing towards my pocket where my phone was. I look down and try to ignore the buzzing against my leg. God I wanted to pick it up. "Oh, its no one" I reply, rolling my eyes "Work calls"

"Dahli, you dont have a job...."

"Car insurance, silly thing" I laugh it off but Beau just stares

"but you dont drive-" shit

"Its Ian!" I say, a little louder than intended and numerous heads turned. He gives me a weird look and nudges me gently under the table. "What is up with you? Why are you acting so weird?" I dont reply, instead I just shrug my shoulders. I sense his face soften and I feel his hand touch mine. "C'mon, lets go back to the hotel, we have been here long enough anyway" he says and gets out of his seat, pulling me up to. The sky had turned rather dark since this morning and there were very few on the beach, a few surfers, the odd couple. The wind had started to pick up too, whipping my hair around, tugging at my jacket and making me shiver. Beau pulls me in closer, wrapping one arm around my waist and the other he keeps behind his back.

"Here" he says bringing his hand around and I look over. In his hand is one of the Plumeria flowers, still perfect despite the battering it was probably receiving from the wind. He tucks my hair behind my ear and using one of my bobby pins he secures it in. I beam up at him and he puts a gentle kiss on my cheek. "Beau, its beautiful" I say, squeezing his hand a little tighter to acknowledge how grateful I was. He blushes and looks down at the ground. "It reminds me of you, so fragile, yet so utterly breathtaking. Your mother should have named you Plumeria instead of Dahlia" He says softly, stroking him thumb over the soft bit on my hand.

"Yes, I think I prefere Dahlia" I grin and I wriggle out of his grip to start running

"RACE YOU TO THE CAR"

We pull up back outside the hotel and I notice my phone buzz again making a nauseous feeling build up in the pit of my stomach. I open the passenger door quickly get out before Beau, my eyes flicking around the lot, searching for Ben's cheery face.

"You know what,"  I say, grabbing Beau's handing and pulling him past the entrance off the buliding, "I think we should go the back way"

"Um, why? Isnt it a fire exit?"

"No, I'm just sure I saw some amazing flowers around there before we left this morning, please Beau" I whine, noticing Ben get out of his car right in front of the entrance.

"What are you, a florist?" he asks jokingly and then turns around to walk directly towards where Ben was standing.

"Hey Dahlia!!"
