Dahlia's POV:
I wake up to headlights shining directly into my room from outside. I throw the covers off me and tip toe across my room to the window. There's a car parked outside and hes stood by the drivers door. I call out his name and I make out him smiling with dewy eyes. The lights are cut and there a rustling from the bushes just below my window.
"What are you doing?!" I loudly hiss at him, watching him slowly climb higher and higher up the drain pipe. If he gets caught, Ian will most likely castrate him with his own bare hands. As he gets nearer towards me, I start to feel like I'm in a bloody Shakespeare performance, only my Romeo had left me standing on the side of the road in the pouring rain.
"What do you think I'm doing? I'm coming to get you!" he hisses back just as loud. I shake my head at him, forgetting he probably couldn't see me. Had he considered the fact that maybe I didn't want to see him?
"Well....I don't want to see you Beau, I have nothing to say to you" I say shutting the window and walking back off to bed. Just as I pull the covers over my shoulders I hear the click of the window and his silhouette against the moon. He walks nearer towards me and I sit upright in bed, leaning as far away as possible from him.
"Beau" I warm him "Leave now, else I scream this house down"
He laughs uneasily, unsure whether I'm joking or not, and continues to move nearer towards me.
"Dahlia, I was wrong to leave you, I thought I was-"
"Beau, leave!"
"Not until you hear me out!" He argues back
"LEAVE!"
"NOT UNTIL YOU-!" I don't hear what he says because I start to scream louder than I ever had before. You might be thinking why. Why would I scream when I knew that if he got caught, he would probably be arrested and sentenced to several months, maybe even years. But then I'm guessing you also were asking why when he left me last night in the rain. You're not alone. I was asking why too.....
"Dahlia stop- shit, fuck- Dahlia please stop!"
The thump of Ian's footsteps hammer down the hallway and the door flies open, smashing against the wall behind. I think I even saw a few splinters of plaster spray onto the floor. Beau turns around violently to face him and slowly edges back towards the closed window. Note Ian's raging face. I rapidly get out of bed and run to the window, opening it for Beau to get out. Ian yells at me and makes an angry charge at Beau.
"DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH ME YOU SICK BASTARD!" he shouts, his fists raised and his veins sticking out in his neck. Ian's breathing is wild and his eyes are blood shot.
"Beau, just leave now!" I demand, not wanting to get on the receiving end of either of them.
"I'M NOT LEAVING WITHOUT YOU!"
"YES YOU ARE, NOW GO!" I choke, pushing him towards the window. Ian swings his fist, unsure of who to hit first. I dodge out the way and Beau runs to the window and skips over the window sill and out into the garden. Goddamn I hope he didn't break anything.
"YOU FUCKING STAY AWAY FROM MY DAHLIA, AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE, AND AWAY FROM THIS ROAD!" Ian spits out the window. If the neighbors didn't hate us before, they certainly did now. A small stone flies threw the open window and lands right in front of Ian's feet.
"FUCK YOU IAN GREY! FUCK YOU AND YOUR FUCKING HABITS! I WILL NEVER STOP LOVING YOU DAHLIA!" Beau screams back getting up off the floor, his voice cracking on the 'a' of my name. It made me think about his lips again. He said my name like no one else did. When he said it, he gave me a place in society.
Ian slams the window shut and looks at me furiously. Then, as unprepared as I was, he strikes me across the face hard knocking me to the floor. I choke out in pain and tears as he storms out the room leaving me lying on the floor, distraught.
"And I'll always love you......Beau......." I whisper
