Having Five Kids

We get to the park and meet up with the others. Garrett walks up to Shane and Andrew, grinning like a goofball.

    "I found a succulent in my car" he holds up a small plant, "I'm gonna plant it," he laughs. Shane grabs the succulent and throws it down on the ground. "Shane, no! I'm gonna plant it!" He whines. As we walk up to the park, we notice a small carousel-type thing and I gasp. Garrett looks at me and Morgan and then exclaims, "Someone is definitely spinning us in that."

    "YES!" Morgan and I scream in unison, causing Andrew to laugh once again. We go inside and Adrix starts by just crawling around and exploring. As Shane and Ryland played with him, Garrett and I look at each other, realizing this is our chance to get on the empty carousel thing we saw coming in. We run to it with Morgan right behind us. We climb in and start spinning, it's more fun than I remembered.

    "I love having five kids." Shane tells the camera, trying to sound exasperated. Shane and Ryland then decided to push Adrix on the swing while we waited for Shane's mom. Ryland decided to try and climb in one of the baby swings, and Garrett pushed him. Morg and I exchanged glances before climbing into some of the bigger child swings. We take turns trying to out swing each other and I decide to "wow" her with a lovely rendition of R. Kelly's 'I Believe I Can Fly'.

    "Perfect!" Morgan laughs as she claps and Garrett walks up behind us.

    "10 out of 10! Encore!" He laughs.

    "Ooh Garrett! Push Me!" Morg squeals, sounding like an excited 5 year old. Garrett grins and starts pushing her as I fake pout.

"Well who's gonna push me!" I whine as Garrett shakes his head.

"Now, now, I have two arms." He laughs as he starts pushing me too. Shane looks over at us and starts laughing.

"Garrett, did you adopt too?" He asks through laughter, pointing at Morgan and I, who are both giggling like children.

"No," Garrett replies, "These girls just came up to me and won't leave me alone!" He laughs as Morgan nods.

"You're our dad now," She states in a serious tone, looking at me and smirking.

"Yeah Daddy," I add, smirking. I know that word makes a lot of people uncomfortable, but I was curious what he would do. He just shakes his head, laughing hysterically as Morgan and I unbuckle and climb out of the swings.

"Please, don't call me that again," he asks, still laughing.

"No promises," I joke as he shakes his head.

"Mom's here!" Shane exclaims. We surround the baby, blocking him from view so that she won't see. She walks up to us as Shane moves out of the way and squeals, "hi Grandma!" She looked so shocked.

"This better be real this time..." She states cautiously. Shane explained what was going on and then introduced her to me.

"Mom, this is Morgan's best friend, Emily. She moved here with Morgan." I waved as he continued, "Emily, this is my mom, Teresa Yaw." She walks over to me and hugs me.

"Nice to meet you! Morgans mentioned you before, I'm glad I get to finally meet you!" I smile as she speaks. Morgan was right, Shane and his "squad" are super nice.
