Last night, Josh went out. He got drunk. He didn't get one, not three, but FIVE other phone numbers from other males. Of course Tyler didn't go, drinking makes him anxious. Tyler could tell something was wrong with Josh the next morning. Josh was fiddling with his thumbs, an involuntary habit he did when he was anxious. And Tyler knew hat was one of the many things he did. Tyler also noticed something else. Josh was on his phone A LOT more than usual. Josh was rarely on his phone when he was with Tyler. Tyler raised an eyebrow and looked at Josh, concerned. "Josh, what's up with you today? You seem anxious," Tyler says, sweetly. Josh flickered his eyes at Tyler and broke eye contact almost immediately. "Josh. Answer my question," Tyler pressed. "It's nothing, Tyler. It's fine. You're overreacting," Josh sneered. Tyler flinched. Josh never used a harsh tone with Tyler. "Let me see your phone." Josh jumped a little. "No." Tyler glared. "Let me see it. Now." Josh rolled his eyes. "What do you want?" Tyler inhaled sharply. He almost lost it with Josh. "Hand. Me. Your. Phone." Josh refused again. Tyler ended up taking it from him. Lucky for Tyler, it was unlocked. Tyler's mouth fell slack at some of the messages. "Who the fuck is Pete?" Tyler asks, while scrolling through their messages:

Josh's mouth fell slack. "He's nobody," Josh lied. Tyler was fighting the tears in his eyes. "Well sure doesn't look like nobody, Josh. A year and a half of dating, and you go and do.. this?" Josh didn't maintain any eye contact with Tyler. "Josh, I thought I could trust you! You fucking PROMISED me that you would be there for me. You promised." Tyler gave up on fighting the tears at this point. The tears ended up streaming down his face. "After all I've done for you, Josh, this is how you treat me?" Tyler let out quietly, falling apart with each breath he took. "No Tyler it's not-" Josh tried to say. "Well it certainly doesn't sound like that. Have fun without me home for the next few days, maybe even weeks. I need to clear my mind out, Josh," Tyler says, before walking out the front door. Tyler thought Josh loved him. Apparently not. He just used Tyler, for his body. He should've known not to trust a man with mocha eyes and C-Major lips.
