Hidden Truth (EDITING)

Chapter 2

*September 18th*(Tuesday)

7:09 am

I was still shocked by what happened yesterday. Who would put that in Taylor's locker? Someone wants to hurt my girlfriend and I have to find out who it is..... before it's too late.

 I got up out of bed and went immediately to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, fixed my hair and did my makeup. After, I went to Jason's room to wake him up.

"Jason, wake up," I say as I nudge him gently. 

"Ugh, morning already?" Jason whined.

"Yes, now hurry we can't be late for school." 

Jason slides off his bed and slouches his way to the bathroom.

After that, we head downstairs and eat breakfast, then walk to school.

We arrive at the school we notice Kayla standing outside of the school entrance. We walk up to her and speak to her.

"Hey, Kayla," Jason says.

"Hey, Jase," Kayla replies.

"Why are you standing outside?" I ask.

"The group wasn't here so I decided to wait outside until someone came" Kayla answered.

"Well, we're here now, so we can go inside," Jason says.

"Yeah, let's go," Kayla replies.

We head inside and we talked about how our night was and what we had for homework. Then we waited for the rest of friends to come.

 12 minutes later, Josh, Alyssa, Mateo, Stephen, and Megan, finally arrive at school. But for some reason, Taylor wasn't here. I was confused for a while and then asked my friends where they think she was.

"She's probably just skipping, no need to worry," Alyssa says.

"Yeah, she doesn't have to come to school you know," Josh replies.

"I mean, I guess, but why would she ever miss school? No matter what, Taylor would never miss a day, even in Kindergarten." I say.

"Vanessa has a point guys, something's not right," Mateo says.

"Should we go look for her?" Megan asks.

"I think we should, she could be hurt or something," Jason says.

"Jase is right, we don't know where she is, I think it's best for us to go search for her," Kayla answers.

"Don't you think we should call her first?" Stephen says.

"You're right, I'll call her," Alyssa says.

Alyssa calls Taylor's phone, but she doesn't answer. 

"No answer, let's go find her," Alyssa says.

"Ok then, let's go," I say.

We first go to Taylor's house to find information on her sudden disappearance.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Hello! Taylor are you home? I yell.

*No answer*

I try opening the door and to my surprise, the door was unlocked.

"That's strange," Josh says.

"Let's just go inside," Mateo answers.

We walk into the white aesthetic mansion Taylor calls home. 3 story house with, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a nice sized kitchen, and a living room you could find in a magazine.
