Flashback: Josh and Taylor

Josh's POV

I never expected to become Taylor's friend, she was so mean to people and I knew i didn't want that type of negativity in my life. But when we started to grow on each other, I didn't really care what she did. All I cared about was her being by my side... until. The incident.

My Mom and Dad were high school sweethearts. They were always together, if one of them was sad, the other would be sad too. They loved each other dearly. But something just quickly changed, and i didn't know what at the time. Then I realized my mom was doing something so wrong, so despicable, so illicit. My mom was having an affair with Mr. Davis

  10th Grade: Taylor's POV

Taylor: HEY JOSH!

Josh: Hey, Taylor...

He looked troubled about something but i didn't know what.

Taylor: What's wrong Josh?

Josh: Taylor... I have to tell you something, and I don't think you're gonna like it.

Taylor: What is it? You're scaring me...

Josh: M-my mom's cheating... with your d-dad.

I stare at him looking confused.

Taylor: Good one Josh. That's not funny.

Josh: Im serious, would i ever lie to you?

Him saying that made me realize... he's telling the truth. I stood there still, I had tears swelling up in my eyes. How could this be happening to me? My own father... this had to be a dream, I was going to wake up any second, but I didn't. This was reality and I couldn't do anything about it.

Josh: Ill talk to my mom... maybe I can convince her to stop. Just please don't be mad at me.

Taylor: Im not mad at you joshie. Im mad at my father.

Josh: I'm sorry Tay...I'll call you?

Taylor: K

Josh's POV

  It didn't stop. I begged my mom to stop doing this. She said she would try, that she would go to counselling. But she never did. She kept sleeping with Taylor's father. Maybe if she would've stopped she could've still been here today.

Josh's Dad: Josh! Come down here please!

Josh: COMING DAD!

  I dash downstairs to see my mom and dad waiting for me.

Dad: I got two tickets to see Adrift tonight and i wanted you to come with me.

Josh: Sure Dad!

Dad: Alright let's go! We'll see you later honey!

Mom: Have fun you two!

Josh: Love you mom!

*Meanwhile* Back at the Sullivan's Household*

*DING DONG*

  Mrs Sullivan's POV

I open the door and I see my lover, my infidelity.

Mrs.Sullivan: Well hello there Mr.Davis.

  I pull him inside and i immediately kissed him.

Mr.Davis: Mmm, how much time do we have baby?

Mrs.Sullivan: How long does Adrift take?

Taylor's POV

I was walking down Josh street when I saw what i thought was supposed to be over. My father kissing Mrs.Sullivan.

Taylor's Thought: That BITCH! I knew he wouldn't stop.

I took out a lighter from my pocket and lit it up. I look at them one last time and then I threw the lighter on the house.

*Back in the House*

  Mr.Davis: Mmm baby i, *sniff sniff* IS THAT SMOKE

Mr.Davis ran out of the house in a hurry. Leaving me inside the house.

My mom could've survived that night. She could've still been with my father. We could've still been a family. If it wasn't...for that bitch Taylor...
