CHAPTER NINE:
BROKEN HEARTS (FOR MORE THAN ONE)
✦✧✦

"You've broke my heart a million times, Aurora Black!" Seamus bellowed.

"Seamus!" Aurora bellowed running after the boy. "I'm sorry!"

Right she should probably explained what had happened. This morning after getting dressed and deciding to spent the day with Luke, she returned back to the common room just in time to find Seamus. He asked her to ball, and worst of all, he had planned it. He had even given her flowers.

She holds the flowers, which appeared sad now. They were daises.

The common room had all been watching the interaction - including a snickering Harry and Ron in the corner. She glared at the two boys.

"Do you want the flowers back?"

Seamus waved her off in disappointment as he slumbered into his dorm. Dean follows him in, laughing to himself. She strolls over towards Harry and Ron, who were holding in their laughter.

Aurora didn't hesitate to lie across both boys. Considering the room was full, and neither of them were going to move. She looks up at Harry.

"I feel bad for Seamus."

"Don't be," Harry interjected without hesitation.

She snorts, "But he got my flowers."

"Not your favourites though." Harry mentions, she raises an eyebrow. "Your favourites are black peonies."

She didn't hide her surprise - she had only mentioned her favourite flowers were those once. Once. He remembered. She tried to stop the strange feeling she felt at the fact he remembered.

She pushes Ron away and sits in between them, now. "How did you remember that?"

He shrugs. "Just do, I guess."

Grinning, she doesn't say anything only sends him a smile.

After this, they don't do much. Hermione comes in and starts her Astrology essay. Aurora braids her hair into plaits, and Harry and Ron both start talking about the Ball.

She didn't know why they were so worried about not having dates.

"I think I'm going to ask Cho-"

"You're gonna ask Cho?" she repeated, not hiding the shock on her face. She looks at Harry, and raises her brow. "I thought you were gonna keep looking?"
