After leaving the clinic, Stiles, Scott and I went back to school to look for Lydia. I was about to walk into Coach's office when the fire alarm was pulled, everyone walked out of the school calmly but what confused me was when Aiden walked out of the office pulling his shirt down. I made sure he didn't see me as he walked away when I was sure he was gone I walked to the office, listening to a conversation I didn't want to hear.

"Derek would kindly ask you if you could stop seeing Aiden." I heard Cora say.

"Sweetheart, my last boyfriend was a homicidal lizard, I'm pretty sure I can handle a werewolf." I heard Lydia say. so she's seeing Aiden too?  "Let go." I heard Lydia say. "I said-"

"Let go!" I heard Stiles say. "She said let go."

I walked away before I could get busted for eavesdropping but as I tried to walk away I bumped into a certain person I was hoping to avoid. "Hey Lexi, I didn't know you were in school." I heard him say. I kept my head down. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," I said. "I just have to go." I rushed past him, then bumping into another person.

"Pardon me," after hearing his voice I wish I was still standing with Aiden. I looked up "can you help me find Scott McCall?" he asked, his voice was smooth but the devilish smiled that he held on his face made my heart drop.

"Ducallien," I said. "What do you want with Scott?" I asked. he slowly brought his hand to my face feeling out the bumps and edges that made my face.

"Such a beautiful girl, it would be a shame if something happened to that face of yours," he said before walking away. "don't worry dear I'll find him on my own." I stayed standing there, for the first time in my life I was afraid to move.

When I finally found to safe to move I walked out of the school towards one place where I knew I could be helpful, The Loft.

"Hey Boyd," I greeted as I stood at the door.

"Don't move," Isaac called out, "Don't step into the water."

"Okay," I said taking a step back from the water. "They're coming, aren't they? Aiden and them?"

"Yes, are you going to help us?" Boyd asked.

"It's the right thing to do," I told them I stood by the door and joined the waiting game. I looked up. "Isn't that supposed to be glowing?" I asked pointing to a red button on a silver box attached to the wall.  they all looked at it.

"Yup," Derek answered.

"What does that mean?" Isaac asked.

"They cut the power," Derek answered before slowly stepping into the water. I walked towards him as the door opened.

"Derek," Isaac said. "What do we do now?"

I stood beside him and I looked at the door. "We fight," I answered for him.

"Gotta be honest, Derek" her voice was cold. "When Ennis died, I thought to myself I'd just go for it. Find you and Kill you, wherever you stood. Then I remembered how you surround yourself with these teenagers, Hiding behind them and I thought ' what's a girl ought to do to get you alone?'" She looked back at the door as Ethan and Aiden walking in with Miss. Blake as a hostage. Aiden's eyes widened at the sight of me, which made Isaac look at me. "You and me Derek or else they tear her apart," she said. "What do you say? you think you can beat me one on one?"

He nodded his head to the side as if telling us to step aside. "I'm going to rip your throat out with my teeth," he said before attacking.  They both roared before jumping on each other.

Isaac looked down at me. "What's going on between you and Aiden?" he asked, I looked at Aiden only to find him staring back at me.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing," I answered. I heard Miss. Blake sob as she tried to get out of their grip.

I watched the fight and I knew Derek was losing. "We have to do something," I told them, "He not going to win." Isaac and Boyd looked down at me before looking back at the fight.

Miss. Blake screamed again and this time I ran towards her, "Wait," I heard Isaac yell.

"Ethan stop, you aren't a bad guy," I looked to Ethan. his grip tightened on her, I looked at Aiden. "Stop, let her go."

I looked away from them to see Derek on the ground and Kali standing above him. "Take him!" she yelled to the twins. They let Miss. Blake and Isaac covered her body with his. I gasped when I saw Boyd on the ground.  then the twins weren't the only ones rushing to the water, Kali grabbed Boyd's body, I tackled her down but I was too late because when I did she dropped Boyd onto Derek's claws.

she growled at me for stabbing me with her claws, I gasped in pain when she pulled her hand out of my stomach and after she slapped me in the face scratching me in the face. "Little girls, should know their place," She spoke before she walked away, I crawled my way to Boyd and Derek. "I'm giving you until the next full moon Make the smart choice Derek, join the pack," she turned back to look at us. "or next time I'm killing all of you" she finished before walking out of the loft. I caught Aiden looking at me with sad eyes but I looked away from him and focused all my attention on Boyd who was lying on the ground talking to Derek.

"It's okay," he said breathily.

"Not it's not." Hot tears ran down my face as I sat next to him.

"It's all Okay, Derek"

"I'm sorry," Derek cried.

The full moon, that feeling was worth it." Boyd looked at me, "The notebook, the one I was drawing in, I-I you to have it," I smiled and nodded, he looked back at Derek. "there's a lunar eclipse, I always wondered how that would feel for one of us, for a werewolf." that was his last sentence before he fell to the ground. I placed my hand on my wound before standing up.

Stiles and Cora ran into the room, realizing that they were too late and that we lost one of our friends I backed away to give Cora space with his body. Stiles put his hand on Derek's shoulder, before walking out with me and Lydia.

"Thanks for driving me home," I said to Stiles as he parked in the hotel parking lot. he looked at me then at the holes in my shirt.

"Are you going to be okay?" he asked. I nodded quickly. "Are you sure?"

"I'm fine Stiles."

I got out of the Jeep and walked out.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I told him before walking into the building.

I waited for the elevator door to close when they were stopped by a masculine hand. "Lexi," I heard him say.

"I don't want to talk to you Aiden."

"I'm sorry,"

"Apologies aren't going to bring Boyd back are they?" I said.

"Are you okay?" he asked, pointing to the holes in my shirt. I rolled my eyes.

"Why do you care?"

"Because I do," Aiden said. "I told you-"

"Are you serious right now?-" I shook my head. "-Just leave me alone. you know what? all your bullshit about still having me throughout all this, I can't believe I thought you were serious, that you liked me."

"Of course I like you," He said.

"If you did, I wouldn't  have caught you leaving Coach's office right before Lydia," He froze and the elevator door opened again and I took this time to leave the elevator.

"Lexi wait,"

I didn't.
