Minerva sat in her classroom working away up at her desk after assigning her students some work. Her classroom was at its usual semi quite state, there would be a few conversations between a couple classmates and the odd question she would have to answer for a student. She attempted painfully at marking essays but all she could think about was Albus.
Minerva knew she had feelings for him, but they were developing rapidly. She had the best night of her life with him, he was the most caring, loving, handsome man she had ever laid eyes on. She didn't regret any of it, quite the contrary, she adored Albus and the night they had together. She was scared of what she meant to him, was it just a one night fling...The way he looked at her seemed so sincere, she couldn't even force herself to believe that all he wanted was a one night fling. Maybe he did really love her...
She shook her head and looked up from the essays and scanned the room making sure everyone was staying some what on topic. She let out a little sigh and crossed her legs looking back down at the essays. Suddenly the bell chimed dismissing the class, Minerva stood up and tried yelling over all the voices and racket of papers being shoved into books reminding the students to complete their homework for tomorrow, but she knew it was useless. She sat back down and put her head in her hands, she was tired, her plan was to introduce a new aspect of transfiguration but no one could get it, several people broke their wands, 2 girls turned themselves into goblets, it was just a hectic day.
Albus looked both ways down the corridor ensuring no one was watching him, he knocked three times on the thick oak door before sliding in. Minerva looked up at him with a blank expression on her face he smiled softly at her and walked to the front of the classroom sitting on one of the desk tops in the front row.
"How are you?" He studying her rather tense body language. Minerva rolled her eyes and placed her hand on her forehead.
"Im just...i'm okay, but Im frustrated." She admitted. Albus chuckled at her forwardness she always said what she meant and meant what she said, never sugar coating anything that needed to be said. "I tried to teach my students a new spell...no one could get it, so I assigned them some work on it instead..and I have been trying to mark these bloody essays but all I can think about is you." She said staring right into his glimmering sapphire eyes. Albus stood up and walked over to Minerva's desk, she pushed out her chair and stood to meet him. He wrapped his arms around her and she melted into him, all her tension seemed to fade away.
"I wish I could have come sooner..." He whispered placing his hands on her hips. Minerva couldn't help but smile as lust swept over her, she placed her hands on his shoulders and looked up into his eyes. He was a good two heads taller than her, he towered over, but he wasn't intimidating in some strange way it made her feel safe.
"I missed you.." He whispered before kissing her neck, she closed her eyes and released the breath she had been holding.
"Albus don't get too carried away." Minerva giggled as she felt him nip gently at her neck.
"Sorry.." he said smirking as he raised his head back to its regular height. They stared at each other for a few moments just enjoying the silence together.
"Minerva..." Albus asked offering her a small smile, she nodded.
"If you'd like...I would love to give 'us' a try. I don't know if that's what you want...but it is certainly what I want. It may be a little hard at times, but if you're willing to give it a go then so am I." Albus finished, his eyes bursting with lust and passion.Minerva stared back at Albus with surprise in her eyes, her heart felt as if it was about to bust out of her chest. She would have never believed her thoughts of having a romantic relationship with Albus would ever become her reality. She knew that it could be dangerous at times, and they could wound up in a heap of trouble she could even lose her job and Albus could lose his position as head master, but she felt the risk was worth it as long as they could be together.
"A-Oh my...just kiss me.." she stuttered to joyous to form a proper sentence. She threw her arms around his neck and Albus pressed his lips against hers, he couldn't help but pull away as he felt Minerva smile into their kiss.
"So...that's a yes then?" he asked grinning. Minerva beamed land nodded her head quickly.
"Yes...of course yes!" She replied happily. Albus laughed and gently kissed her cheek.
"I have things to do my dear, so I must go. Can we meet later? Maybe by the lake." Albus asked softly caressing Minerva's cheek with his thumb. Minerva's eyes shimmered with happiness."Of course..." She replied smiling. Albus nodded and went to walk away, however Minerva grabbed the collar of his robes and gently tugged at it. He turned around and raised his eyebrows, she gestured for him to get a little closer, and he complied. She boosted herself up on her tippy toes so her lips were level with his ear.
Albus' eyes almost were brought to instant tears, he closed them and wrapped his arms around Minerva's waist. His pulse quickened and a lump formed in his throat as Minerva spoke three words he had forever yearned to hear her say.
"I love you."
