"Minerva you're pregnant." kept replaying and replaying throughout Minerva's head. She looked away from Poppy still too shocked to speak, how was she going to keep this a secret...how was she going to tell Albus...she couldn't what if he didn't want it. What if he doesn't want her....
"C-can I just...be alone..." she asked her voice trembling, she was trying her hardest to remain together until Poppy left.
"Yes..of course it's a lot to process.." Poppy said quickly getting up. She wanted badly to stay and talk to Minerva but she didn't want to push her limits, there were so many questions and concerns she had but she complied and left headed back to the hospital wing. As soon as she was alone Minerva's broke down into tears, her eyes dripped with tears and all the walls she built up seemed to crumble down. She pulled her knees up to her chest and leaned her forehead against them. The thickness of her teaching robes muffled the loud sobs as her emotions roared like wild fire.

Albus was back at Hogwarts 4 days earlier than he was due to arrive, he was so glad the work the Ministry needed done were simple tasks that he could finish in 2 days time. He was beyond joyous to see Minerva, he had been planning a date night to the muggle world. There was a masquerade ball taking place and he thought it would be perfect, no one would know who they were.
He decided to walk the hallways before going too see Minerva, as HeadMaster is was crucial he made sure everything was running smoothly and properly. He never got tired of all the students smiling faces saying hi to him as he walked passed them, Hogwarts really was a blessing and he really was lucky to be in-charge of such an amazing school. He walked past the hospital-wing and instantly his mind went to Minerva, he hoped she ended up going. He hated he had to leave her when she was sick, he wanted nothing more than to stay with her and care for her but duty called and he had no choice.
"Professor Dumbledore! Back are you!" Poppy chirped walking toward the hospital wing. Albus smiled and nodded.
"I never like to leave for too long." He said smiling as she walked past him. "Say..Poppy." He called spinning on his heel to face the witch, she hummed and raised her eyebrows.
"Has Professor Mcgonagall come too see you? I know she has taken a few days off due to sickness, as headmaster i'm supposed to make sure my staff are alright!" He composed, and watched as Poppy's expression started to shift. She became up tight and anxious, he could tell something wasn't right. He needed to find Minerva asap.
"Yes, she is fine. She must have caught the bug that was going around. I assure you she will be back to teaching soon!" She said with a little grin, Albus saw right through her lie. There was something wrong.
"Okay...Thank You for the update!" he said convincingly as possible turning away. His mind started to race 1000 miles a minute, he was truly and utterly worried. Albus walked as quickly as he could to the teachers chambers not caring who was watching. He walked right into Minerva's room and looked around frantically for her, she was nowhere to be found.
"THINK ALBUS THINK!" He yelled at himself covering his face with his hands. The old willow they used too practice her animagus, that's where she always went when she needed to be alone. He left her chambers and practically ran down the corridors making it to the tree as fast as he could.

Minerva sighed heavily and wiped away her tears. She started to regain her composure and looked out over the lake. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a red blob approaching closer and closer she finally decided to look over and saw Albus running toward her.
"Minerva! Minerva!" He yelled as he finally got to her, he got down onto the ground right next to her and quickly pulled her into his chest. He kissed her everywhere, she couldn't help but laugh. She had never been showered with such affection before and even though she was worried and very very upset Albus made her forget about all that. He stopped for a second and pulled away to look at her.
"I got here early and I couldn't wait to see you, the Ministry jobs seem to be getting easier and easier so that means I wont be gone for long periods of time." He explained, he tightened his grip around Minerva and looked into her eyes, a slight frown appeared on his face.
"You've been crying..." He said softly, furrowing his brow. Minerva didn't want to admit to crying because she didn't want to tell him the reason why she had been crying.
she pretended to acted shocked. "No...of course not...Maybe allergies...pollen.." she lied rubbing her eyes. Albus stared at her for a moment longer not truly believing what she told him, but he didn't want too pry.
"Okay my love.." He said said with a little smile leaning in to capture her lips. Minerva smiled into the kiss, and gently pushed Albus away.
"You know anyone could just walk past and see us..." She said with a little twinkle in her eye. Albus smiled devilishly and kissed her again.
"A simple spell will make them forget everything..." He said kissing her cheek. Minerva smiled and leaned her head on his chest, she let out a relaxed sigh as the steady beat of his heart started to lull her to sleep. She was glad he didn't-ask her any further questions, she wasn't ready to tell him about the pregnancy because she wasn't sure how he'd react. She would have to tell him sooner or later but she needed time to process how and when.
"Min.." Albus called softly. She nodded her head and looked up at him. He ran his hands through her hair and looked her in the eyes smiling widely.
"There is this thing...a ball...a masquerade ball, and I want too go, with you of course...but if you don't want to we don't have too..I just tho-
"Oh shut up, of course I will go with you..." She said grabbing both sides of his face pressing her lips against his again. "You have no idea how to ask a woman out on a date..." She said letting out a little chuckle. Albus smiled as his cheeks flashed a bright red, she giggled and kissed him again.
"I love you..." she whispered. Albus pulled her into him and wrapped his arms around her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
"I love you too." He said smiling happily to himself.
