"I have a meeting in my office early tomorrow morning so it's probably best you sleep in your chambers tonight." Albus said to Minerva as they strolled hand and hand around the grounds.
"That's alright." Minerva replied looking up at him, she had too admit he was very attractive. When she was younger she never thought of him in that way, but now she couldn't help it, he had very defined features and his blue eyes were absolutely mesmerizing. She had fallen completely in love with him, everything he did or said made her burst with happiness. He was the man of her dreams, but her dreams had come true.
It was well past midnight but the full moon shone brightly in the sky, lighting up the school grounds relatively well. There was no one else out, and if their was they would be in very deep trouble for being out past curfew. The only people that may be out were other professors but it was highly unlikely anyone would be up at this time, aside from Minerva and Albus of course.
"Minerva there is one little thing I didn't tell you about our date..." Albus said stopping in his tracks pulling her into his embrace, she smiled at at him arching her eyebrow growing rather curious about their mystery rendezvous.
"And what may that be?" she questioned as her smile grew. He licked his lips and huffed letting out an airy chuckle.
"Well...we must travel to the muggle world." He said with a little blush. Minerva widened her eyes with surprise, it had been so long since she had last been there, the last time she went was nearly 5 years ago too visit her Parents. Her Mother and her had a falling out and Minerva hadn't spoken too her Parents or been to the muggle world since. She didn't want to ruin Albus' very thoughtful night out he planned so she decided to not mention anything about it. She smiled and quickly pecked his lips.
"Sounds like a wild adventure." She admitted smiling as she watched Albus' face light up with happiness.
"Oh also....I got you something." Albus said smiling widely.
"Oh Albus, you didn't need too..." Minerva said overwhelmed with his kindness.
"You will get it tomorrow...in preparation for the ball of course.." He said with a little wink, and they continued too walk. Minerva looked down at the ground let out a little laugh as her cheeks blushed. Albus made her feel so loved and cherished, he deeply cared for her and that warmed her heart. She couldn't even think about losing him, it would destroy her. He made her life so much more colourful and fun and the love he showed her was unmeasurable.
Suddenly the news about the pregnancy flashed through her head, she had too tell him it was his after-all. Maybe he wouldn't get mad he didn't seem like the type to despise or hate anything he deserves too know, she couldn't stall any longer she needed him to be by her side throughout this.
"Albus.." Minerva called softly brining them both too a halt again. Albus nodded his head and looked into her eyes sincerely. She was suddenly regretting her decision but it was to late, he probably knew something was up.
Albus could tell she was trying to calculate what to say. He hated that she felt she needed to hide things from him, or she felt scared to tell him things. He grabbed her face between his hands and pressed his lips against hers, he lingered there for a minute before slowly pulling away keeping his face millimetres away from hers.
"Minnie...please..tell me.." he nearly begged beginners to grow very worried. Minerva gulped hard and closed her eyes trying to fight back tears.
"Albus..." she called shakily. "I...I...Albus-I'm pregnant..." she finally spit out. "And if you don't want me anymore I will leave you alone and I won't tell anyone its yours I swear..." she started to ramble. Albus couldn't believe what she had just told him. He was going to be a father...have a child..he thought his life couldn't get any better but this was amazing.
"Minerva! Minerva..." He said trying to stop her from rambling. She stopped talking and looked into his eyes and watched as his lips curled up into a bright smile.
"I couldn't be more pleased with this news...I-ha I am beyond happy...I'm going to be a father..." He said nearly in tears as he placed his hand softly on her stomach. Minerva smiled as her eyes started to well with tears once again. Albus was happy...he was happy and supportive.
"Yo-you-your not mad?" she asked obviously flabbergasted. Albus frowned and furrowed his brow.
"My love, why would I be mad..." He asked concerned.
"I-I was scared you wouldn't be happy...and-and would not want us..." She said as tears streamed down her face. Albus inhaled deeply, he could feel tears threatening to spill from his eyes but he refused to look away, even as his lips trembled and his chest wracked with emotion, he needed Minerva too know how much he cared and loved for her. His arms tightened around her as a lone tear traced down his cheek, tears started streaming from his deep blue eyes.
"Minerva...I would never leave you...or our little one...I love him or her already..." He said holding her stomach. "And I simply could not live without you Minerva...you are the love of my life..." He preached his eyes swimming with love and desperation. "I will do whatever I can too protect my family, and I will never let anyone hurt either of you."
Minerva sighed as tears streamed down her face freely, she laid her head on Albus' chest. "I love you Albus..so so so much..." she said.
"And I love you...with all my being." He said nestling closer to her. He held her as close as he physically could. He just wanted her to feel loved and safe with him.
