Hogwarts, one of the most outstanding, unshakable schools of magic ever build in the wizarding world.  It was established to assist young witches and wizards control and master their magical abilities, while keeping them and the secret of magic safe from the real world and  most importantly muggles.

Minerva Mcgonagall, had attended Hogwarts as a young witch, she had been sorted into Gryffindor with the new elected Headmaster Albus Dumbledore as her head of house.  It turned out he was her transfigurations professor as well and that was her favourite subject, in which she excelled in.  Throughout her years at Hogwarts she was elected Prefect, Head Girl, any title that existed she possessed.  She was an exceptional student and grew into a very very strong witch. When she graduated she took up a job at the Ministry but found it to not be as fur filling as she once imagined it to be.   As if fait read it in the stars the week she quit she got a letter from Hogwarts directly from Albus himself saying the school was in need of a new Transfigurations Professor and she was the perfect candidate for the position.  It had always been a dream of hers to teach at Hogwarts so she wasted no time writing back to accept the generous offer.   Within that week she packed up her tiny apartment and moved to Hogwarts.

She was delighted to be back, yet hadn't met any of the new staff.  However Professor Dumbledore came up to her as soon as she arrived.  He stood at the front entrance tall and proud,  his auburn hair still shone elegantly in the sunlight showing little evidence of greying, it cascaded down past his shoulders.  A pair of half moon glasses rested on his nose, it was on the rather long side and slightly crooked but not to noticeably so, his shining sapphire eyes stole the show.  They were the bluest eyes Minerva had ever seen in her life,  they seemed to have a magical twinkle to them.   When she walked up to him she realized she had been gaping at him and had to quickly snapped herself out of it.

"Minerva Mcgonagall..." He called out opening his arms as he announced her name like she was that of royalty.  She smiled sheepishly as a small blush creeped onto her cheeks.  His voice was so powerful but kind and soft at the same time.   He pulled her into a friendly hug that she was much grateful for, it planted a smile on her face.

"I'm sure Hogwarts is happy to have such a marvellous witch back to walk along its corridors." He said with a smile.  Minerva raised her eyebrows and let out a sigh trying to ignore the fact that her face was growing more red every minute.

"I'm sure it's been managing fine on its own Although I would much rather be here." She admitted.  "There isn't much chance of a life when working for the Ministry." She said making Albus chuckle.

"Isn't that the truth..." He said taking one of her suitcases and they started walking up to the castle together.

Minerva sat in her new classroom staring blankly at a mound of Ministry paperwork piled on her desk.   Her first interaction with Albus had happened a little over a week ago and she still couldn't shake the thought of him out of her head.

pulling herself out of her thoughts she refocused on the tedious task at hand.  Albus had assigned her what seemed an eternity of never ending paperwork, who knew new professors had to fill out so much damned paperwork.   It seemed pointless to her, the Ministry already knew who she was.  Much to her demise she would need to complete it, she didn't want to defy Albus in any way.  Letting out a little sigh she replenished her quill and placed her glasses on the bridge of her nose ready to finish all the marking.
