Due to the amount of paperwork Minerva had been assigned to complete, the majority of her days consisted of teaching 4 classes then retreating to her private chambers in the evening to work on paperwork. She hadn't assigned any homework or essays so there was nothing that needed her immediate attention and she could complete her work in peace.Minerva sat at her desk in her private chambers trying to power through all the paperwork. Personal files and random papers were scattered everywhere, which was unusual for Minerva. She was a very organized clean individual and she liked to keep a tidy desk, but she really could care less at this point in time. The amount of paperwork was mentally exhausting, being surrounded by endless amounts of text and words was tiresome and mind numbing, not to mention boring as hell. Not only that but her brain was constantly trying to find something simulating, and Minerva wasn't comfortable with what her brain had been finding simulating as of late.....especially with WHO it had been finding simulating.
Since Albus had welcomed her 2 weeks ago, Minerva had been having unusual thoughts. She always had a tight grip on her feelings and rarely let them lash out, but it seemed she was having more difficulties with them this time.
She sighed heavily and leaned back in her chair rubbing her forehead. There she goes again, Albus creeping back into her thoughts. His inviting smile, his luxurious eyes....his robust arms...
"What the devil is happening to me? This is so wrong, he is my co-worker...and basically my boss!..." She began to grow frustrated with herself, why in the hell was she having such reoccurring thoughts about him.
"But he is so kind and, and....Minerva just STOP." She yelled at herself pushing her palm to her forehead. It must have been quite late, Minerva looked over to the grandfather clock in the corner of her chambers and read 12:06pm. She let out another sigh and slowly rose from her seat and walked around her desk, she glanced at the mess of paperwork, but couldn't be bothered to tidy it up right now, she just wanted to climb into bed and let sleep consume her.
She proceeded to her rather large bedroom located just to the left of her desk, she closed the door and began removing her favourite green velvet robes. Changing into a silk nightgown she let down her luscious black locks and plopped down on the bed covering herself with the thick duvet. She fell asleep almost instantly.
