I sat on the edge of a bridge, that hung over a busy highway, collecting my thoughts for the next few hours.

I didn't understand what happened, but one thing was clear, I never wanted to see that boy again.

Something happened when I touched him, and I couldn't explain it.

That powerful surge I had felt when I made contact with the boy drained my energy and my essence.

I lifted my chin, and stared at the sky.

The northern lights shone brightly tonight, their color clashing with the star's luminous twinkle.

It was such a relief to see the northern lights shining so boldly.  In the past couple of weeks, they had been getting dimmer and dimmer.

Winter was fading. Slowly but surely it was becoming a second Spring.

Let me back it up for you clueless readers.

I live in Winter.

That's right, IN Winter.

IN.

I, am a Terian, a powerful race of protectors.

Where I come from, there's four boundary divided lands.

Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall.

Let me guess, those names ring a bell.

A major bell.

The size of the White House.

My people, keep your winter in check.

We control your seasons, but we aren't allowed to leave our sector.

Where I live, Winter is fading.

It's getting warmer, the northern lights are fading, and saplings are shooting up everywhere.

And guess what, it's all your fault.

You and your pollution and global warming.

Or at least that's what I was taught to believe.

I believe there's something out there. Something that's causing all of this, and I intend to find it, and shut it down.
