"For God's sake Catherine, can you just say what happened with Hailey?" Karma said as I continued to eat my cheese burger not paying attention to her. I didn't eat breakfast because I was late for class, not to mention that I didn't eat anything yesterday beside the fries so to say I was starving would be an understatement.

"Just wait until I finish eating. Have some mercy." I said with full mouth.

"Oh God," She said rolling her eyes.

"You know what happened yesterday?" I said after a second.

"What?" She asked with excited eyes.

I told her about what happened with David, when I finished she looked at me for a moment before she threw herself at the floor.

"Are you kidding me," She said in a disappointed tone. I just laughed at her before I put the take away bag aside.

"Okay, I'm done, I'm done." I said still laughing.

"Lair," she said from her place on the floor.

"No, I swear."

"What happened?" She asked sitting up beside the bed.

So I told her what happened from the moment we arrived until we left, I also told her about what Zed did because I didn't know if I should just let it go or what.

"So wait," she said trying to process it all. "You have her number?" She asked with wide eyes.

"Yeah," I said feeling very proud of myself. Look at me now, Zed.

"Wow, we're so close." She said raising her hands to high five me. What type of ghost is this?

"You can just wait until tomorrow and call her. Maybe then she will introduce you to the rest of her friends." She said looking in deep thought.

"Okay but the question is, what happens after that?" I asked.

"Don't worry about it, I have something planned. I will tell you about it when the time is right." She said.

"Alright, what do you think about that Zed accident though?"

"I don't know, I think that he's just trying to help in anyway he can." She shrugged.

"I'm just scared that maybe he's going to do something that he will regret."

"I know Zed, he's probably thinking about it right now. I'm sure that he won't do anything stupid."

"I hope so," I said then laughed. "You know I was terrified after I spoke about the waiter, you should've seen the look on Zed's face. He was going to kill me."

"You're sure she didn't notice anything?" She asked.

"No, I'm sure she didn't. She was actually really happy that I was standing up for her." I said.

"So she's actually facing the same problems that I faced." She said with a sad smile.

"I don't understand how she could do that to you when she experienced the same thing."

"That's just how people are. Maybe she just wanted to know how it felt to be the one behind the trigger for once." She said.

"That's sick." I said and she nodded.

"Anyway, So about that David." She said smirking.

"What about that David?" I asked.

"Do you think he likes you?" She asked.

"What? Why the hell would you think that? He was just trying to be nice and didn't want me to pity him. That has nothing to do with him liking me." I said trying to defend myself for some reason.
