We sat in awkward silence for a while with my occasional sniffing sound which made it a lot more awkward before I finally broke the silence.
"So, where do you live now?" I asked.
"I have an apartment with a roommate, well it's not really an apartment it's more of a rat's house but yeah." He chuckled.
"Life will get better, I promise." I said trying to keep the eye contact, he just stared at me for a second before answering.
"Enough with the pity shit," He said standing up.
"Just so you know, I didn't tell you this so you could feel bad for me or anything. I just wanted to tell someone and unlike you, I do trust you, so don't take this as an attempt to grab your attention or anything."
"Are you stupid?" I rolled my eyes. "Of course I didn't think that." I said ignoring the trust part.
"Okay," He said standing up.
"Do you, like, do you ever think of going back to rehab?" I asked looking up at him.
"No, or I don't know, maybe." He shrugged. "I haven't really thought about it."
"I think you should." I nodded to myself.
"I don't see a point in going back." He looked at me. "Now, come on. You have to go back to your dorm, don't you have classes tomorrow?"
"Yeah, I do. I might not go though." I said thinking about it.
"Why? Do you even go? I never see you in campus."
"I do go but I don't know, I never saw you either." I stood up and he nodded not knowing what else to say before we started walking back to my dorm.
"I will see you around, I guess." He said when we arrived running his hand through his hair yet again.
"You won't ignore me?" I smiled.
"I will, I mean after this awkward heart opening shit I will probably leave campus." He chuckled.
"Awkward heart opening shit." I mocked him laughing.
He waved at me and was about to leave when I opened my mouth.
"No," he cut me off. "Don't say anything about it."
"I was just.." I started.
"I won't do anything, don't worry." He said his cheeks turning red slightly before he walked away.

"You know, I feel like I wasn't supposed to tell anyone this but you're a ghost so I don't think that counts." I told karma as I straightened my hair.
It had been four days since the awkward heart opening shit and I didn't hear from any of them until today when Zed called me saying that Hailey wanted to meet us in a pub near campus tonight.
"It's not like I'm going to tell anyone." She shrugged. "That was really bad though,"
"Yeah, I knew he didn't have an easy background because he avoided talking about it but I never thought it was that bad." I said and she nodded.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I said answering the phone.
"Catherine, I've been waiting outside for years." Zed said.
"I will be out in a minute." I said hanging up.
"Does my hair looks good?" I've just died it again but this time I decided to change it, it was now a light brown, it's close to my natural hair colour but it looked more shiny.
