"Should we go?" Zed yelled from the kitchen even though we were the only people in the diner.
"I don't know, what do you think?" I asked playing with the zip of my jacket.
"What I do think is that you, Cathriene, won't go anywhere without me from now on." He said firmly as he sat next to me.
"It's not that anything happened." I shrugged.
"Her threatening you is not a thing? If that David was a fucking man he wouldn't have let her do this." He gritted his teeth.
I came here to tell him about what happened yesterday and he has been freaking out since then.
"It's not like that Zed, there's a lot going on between her and David that we don't know of." I defended him.
"You just can't understand that he's not helping us."
"He's, he was the one who told me Dana was after me to begin with."
"I don't trust him anymore," he shrugged. "Anyway, will we go?"
"I mean, we've nothing else to do." I said. Hailey had called Zed to invite him to a party and of course they won't get Zed without getting me too.
"Okay then, let's go." He said standing up.
I nodded standing up as well waiting for him to wear his jacket.
"How's Elle's mom?" I asked as we walked to the car.
"She's fine, she's back home but Elle is staying with her just in case anything happens."
"Thank God,"
Of course Zed couldn't help but sing to every single song that came on the radio as we drove to the frat house, I wonder how he knows all of them.
"Here we're," he said opening his door.
I followed him and looked at the familiar scene of drunk people trying to hold in their laughter as they stumbled out of the front door.
"I'm getting sick of this parties," I told him.
"Me too," he nodded.
But we still went inside and put fake smiles on to try and get justice for our friend.
"Tina, hey." Hailey said not expecting to see anyone but Zed of course.
"Hey," I smiled.
"I haven't seen you in a while," she smiled at Zed.
"Yeah, been a little busy." He said sitting down on the couch.
"Welcome back," I think Zed is the only person that could actually make Hailey smile.
I don't know if I just forgot how these parties went or if the music is louder this time but I feel like my ears will start to bleed.
"Where's everyone?" I asked her.
"David is high somewhere in here and Natalie went with Liza to get more beer, Dana is not here don't worry."
"Oh, okay." I nodded, I didn't ask to know where Dana is. I just wanted to know if David was here.
As usual, they talked as I looked around at the people. I think I could actually recognize a few of them from how many times I have been here.
"Hailey, where's my shit?" David yelled coming from no where. I turned around to smile at him but realized that he didn't even notice me or Zed as he stared blankly at Hailey.
"You can't take it now, I won't carry your guilt if something happenes." She shook her head.
"I'll be fine," he said, he doesn't look fine though.
