A case of racism

Chapter 64

The party was tomorrow.

And David still didn't call me.

And I'm freaking out.

"Calm down, it's going to be fine." Karma said.

"Why didn't any of them call?" I said sitting down on the bed.

"I don't know," she shrugged.

I didn't tell her about David, I don't know why, I didn't even know what I was going to do. I just couldn't bring myself to tell her for some reason.

We sat in silence as I thought about everything that could possibly go wrong.

"Did you call Zed?" She asked.
"I called him yesterday."

My phone finally rang making me run over to it.

"Hey," I answered.

"Come to Ryan's house right fucking now, and bring Zed with you." Dana said before hanging up.

"Is that them?" Karma asked.

"Yeah," I nodded calling Zed.

"Dana called me," I said as soon as he answered.

"Finally."

"Come on, they want us in Ryan's house."

"Okay, I'll pick you up."

"Do you think they know something?" I asked Karma as I waited for Zed.

"I don't think so," she shook her head.

We waited in silence until Zed came and I went outside to meet him.

"Are you sure we'll be fine?" He asked me when we arrived.

"I don't know, I hope." I shrugged.

I could hear Dana screaming even before they opened the door.

"Come on," Austin said letting us in.

"Do you think I'm joking around?" Dana turned to me as soon as Austin closed the door.

"What?" I played dumb.

"The fuck do you mean 'what'! Where's the drugs?" She asked making her way over to me.

"I gave it to Hailey?" I said questionably.

"I told you I'm not joking." She said standing right in front of me.

"I really don't understand what you're talking about." I shrugged. 

"Dana, they didn't even come to the house. I'm pretty sure she didn't steal it." Ryan said.

"Then who did it?" She screamed going over to them.

I finally took a minute to look at everyone, Hailey, Liza and David sat down on the couches not saying anything as Dana passed back and force in front of them.

"Calm down," Liza said.

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down!" She turned to her. "You know what that means? All the money we spent is just gone!"

"Can any of you tell us what is happening?" Zed asked.

"The drugs that Tina got for us is gone." Hailey said.

"What do you mean is gone?" I asked.

"Someone stole it." She shrugged.

"We have to find who did it. The party is tomorrow." Dana said.

"Why don't we just make the party next week instead?" Austin suggested.

"Of course we can't, Emma is coming. Do you know how pissed she would be?" Dana said. Emma? I thought that maybe she's the girl I was looking for.
