"I will be back in a second." David said before disappearing as we went over to sit on the couch. I shuddered when I remembered what happened the last time I was here.
"Where is he going?" Zed asked looking around us.
I shrugged, I don't even want to know what he's doing. Unfortunately, Dana saw us as soon as we got in and came over to say hi and tell us that she'll catch up with us later before she left. I hope she gets stuck in a bathroom or something and she doesn't have the chance to catch up with us.
"I don't know why people find this parties interesting." I said in a bored tone.
"It is, only when you have friends though." He teased.
"Haha, funny." I made a face at him.
I felt my phone vibrating in my hand so I looked at it. Andy's name flashed on my screen, well not the righ time, at all.
I almost forgot that he didn't call me on my birthday, I didn't have the time to mourn over my lost friendship. I hit ignore, I will just call him later. If I was the one who forgot to call him on his birthday I know for a fact that he wouldn't even speak to me but I don't want what we had to end up that way.
"Where are they?" Zed asked.
"How could I know? I'm sitting next to you."
"How does your tattoo feel?" He asked trying to come up with anything to say.
"I don't feel anything, is it supposed to hurt?"
"It just sting a little."
"Well, I didn't notice." I shrugged.
My phone vibrated once again. It was a text from David.
'I'm not somewhere sniffling white shit if that's what you think.'
It vibrated again before I could answer.
'That sounded strange. Anyway, Hailey will be down in a minute to try distract Zed, tell him to go with her.'
'They want to talk to you, they stupid as fuck, like that won't be suspicious at all.' I laughed at the last text.
'Okay' I hit send before looking at Zed.
"What?" He asked.
"Hailey will try to distract you because they want to talk to me, go with her."
"What? No, I'm not leaving you alone."
"I won't be alone, David is here." I tried to argue and he raised his eyebrows.
"I will be fine, I swear." I said, he just huffed and looked the other way.
"Hey," Hailey said as she appeared in front of us a minute later.
"Hey," Zed said, I looked at her not saying anything.
"What did you do on your birthday?" She asked me.
"Nothing," I shrugged.
"Oh cool, Zed I was wondering if maybe you could grab a drink with me?"
"Okay." He grumbled as he stood up and followed her.
I sat there for a second not knowing what to do before David appeared.
"What did you do on your birthday?" He mocked her in a high pitched tone.
"Just thought of a way I could get rid of you." I said in the same tone.
"Come on, they're upstairs." He laughed.
