"Are you okay?" Zed asked when I sat down next to him.
"Yes," I nodded trying to smile.
I won't let what happened let me down, I promised myself that I wouldn't let anything distract me from what I'm here for.
"You want to go get a drink?" Austin asked giving me a wink.
"No, thank you." I smiled at him. What's wrong with him?
"Alright," he stood up. "I will go grab a drink, do you need anything?" He asked them.I didn't care to hear what they said as I looked around me, everyone's faces became sort of familiar.
I decided to text Molly to see if she could come and get me.
'I'm really bored, can you come and get me from the frat house?'
I waited for her to reply, it didn't take more than two minutes.
'You went there again? I'm out with my brother but Logan is there, you want me to ask him?'
'No, I don't want to be a burden.'
'I will tell him, I'm sure he wouldn't mind.'
I really didn't want to ask Logan for a ride home, I haven't even talked to him for over a month.
"Zed, can we leave?" I tried.
"What? Why?" Hailey asked.
"I'm just tired." I shrugged.
"You just got here, chill." She rolled her eyes.
"We can leave if you want." Zed said giving me a careful glance.
"No, it's fine." I huffed looking around me.
Ten minutes later my phone rang, I didn't even remember that I had Logan's number.
"Hey," I answered hesitantly.
"Catherine hey, Molly told me you needed a ride? Where are you?" It became sort of confusing hearing the same music from his side and mine.
"I'm downstairs, sitting on the couches next to the door." I feel so embarrassed right now.
"Okay, I'll be there." He hung up.
We're not even that close, I only talked to him like three or four times, I could've just walked instead. Why did I even ask Molly?
A few minutes later I found him looking around for me so I went over to him.
"Hey," I said standing in front of him.
"Oh, hey," He smiled. "I haven't seen you in so long."
"Yeah, I haven't really been around for the past week." I chuckled, he just nodded.
"I will tell them I'm leaving," I told him and went over to Zed.
"Who's that?" Hailey asked her eyes lightening up when she looked over at Logan, I mean, he is attractive.
"That's my friend, I'm leaving okay?" I told Zed.
"With him?" He asked unsurely.
"He will drive me back to the dorms, don't worry about me." I smiled at him before waving and going back to Logan.
"I really am so sorry," I told him when we got out of the house.
"It's fine, the party is boring anyways." He shrugged.
"You know Molly, she can't let people be." I chuckled trying not to blush.
"Okay, come on. You don't have to be so polite, it's not that long that we haven't talked to each other." He laughed.
