Dipper's P.O.V.

I woke up when I felt the couch get lighter and looked up to see Wirt walking upstairs then coming back with blankets. "Hey, I thought you were asleep," Wirt said. I nodded still tired he sat down next to me and I put my head on his shoulder as he put the blanket on and around us then his head on top of mine. I smiled but slowly fell asleep. We barely got any sleep cause soon enough Mable came barging in with Greg they seemed to not notice us on the couch until they did see us. "Hey bro! So what did you guys do today?~" Mable said and smirked at me. "Nothing big Mable. We had dinner and watched some movies nothing like your sick mind thinks." I sighed. Wirt snickered when she looked upset and Greg started to make smooching noises. It was uncalled for in my opinion but whatever. We decided to give the couch to Mable and Greg since we weren't using it. I flopped down on my bed and moved over for Wirt but he didn't lie down. I turned over to see what he was doing and he was looking at the pictures that were on my nightstand. Mostly at one of me and my parents. "Wirt?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled. "Now I see where you got your looks from." He said with a small laugh. I got a bit upset with what he asked next. "When will I be able to meet them?" I looked down and soon buried myself in the blankets. "Hey. What's wrong did I ask too soon?" He asked and uncovered my face. "I'm upset 'cause you can't meet them. They passed a month after that picture. That was my second summer here in Gravity Falls." I sighed. He looked sad. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for you to feel bad! God, I suck at first dates!!!" Wirt said and looked down then covered his face. I rolled over and held his shoulder. "It's fine Wirt," I said and hugged him tightly. He held my arms and kissed the side of my head.

He is a sweet guy. I don't know how I ended up with a guy like him. It makes me happy and feels special not gonna lie. We lay there and I drifted off to sleep. I was having a normal nightmare again. I thought Wirt could ward them off but I guess not all the time.
Bill was there again the town was on fire and he had Mabel.

"Come on kid! Tic Toc! Just hand over your body to me and she'll be okay!" He said and squeezed her in his hand.

"Dipper help!!" Mable screamed. She was crying.
I didn't know what to do! I was panicking.

"This is a dream!!! THIS ISN'T REAL!!" I yelled and slammed my hands on my head. I can't wake up!

"Come on Pine Tree! Your sister doesn't have a lot of time left!" He said and started tossing her in the air.

"Dipper. Dipper!" I heard. I slowly saw the nightmare go black and shot up.

"Dipper are you alright?" I heard next to me. I flinched and saw Wirt hold my shoulder. "Oh, Wirt. I-I'm sorry... I was just having a really bad nightmare...." I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder. He looked at me. "Do you want to talk about it Dear?" He asked and placed his hand on my cheek. I looked at him. "N-Not really... Are you okay to go back to sleep? I think I'm fine now..." I sighed and nuzzled his shoulder. He smiled at me. "Of course. You don't have to talk about it. Let's get you some sleep." He said and rested his head on the pillow and held me close to him. "Hopefully this helps." He whispered as he closed his eyes. As I lie here I felt warmth cover me it was nice and I was hoping the nightmares don't come back...... But now I'm scared of sleeping. Crap.

Wirt's P.O.V.

I woke up when the sunlight peaked through the blinds that sat on the window. I slowly sat up Dipper looked not so well like he only got about 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I wish there was a way I could make him not have nightmares. I slowly got out of bed and quietly walked over to the door.

"Where are you going?" I heard him mumble as he rubbed his eyes and then moved his hair out of his face.

He sat up as I walked back over to him.
"I was gonna try letting you get more sleep and try and surprise you with breakfast?" I said with a shrug.
