A/N: I love you guys!! Such great comments and so many votes, I literally jumped when I saw the notifications. Really, the nicest people in the world are reading my stories and I couldn't be happier. This chapter is just me trying a bit of angst and failing spectacularly and then changing it to fluff. Because I'm the author. And I can do that. Mwahahahah!

Also, today was sort of the selection for the editorial team of the school magazine and I tried out so I hope I get the job. Fingers crossed!

Disclaimer: This is way too unnecessary at this point. I don't know why I keep doing it. Meh. Ya'll know the drill- KHr! does is the property of Akira Amano-sensei and that is for the best. Also, the picture above does not belong to me.

Flames, rainbow Flames danced between pools of scarlet liquid as the clang of metal on metal rang in between the thud of falling bodies. In the midst of all this, the screams were the loudest- screams of children as they sought protection, of comrades wailing for the loss of a friend, of women being tortured by madmen. She stood there, feeling amused at the scene. Yes, this was what the mafia really was.

Stella felt bile rise up in her throat. Who was this person?! Who in the world could be this twisted and cruel to find pleasure in such depravities? The body she had inhibited turned back and chuckled maniacally at the fallen Vongola. The dead body's light blond hair was matted with blood which had splattered all over his purple trench coat. It took a minute for her to realize that the lifeless blue orbs she was seeing were the very ones she adored.

Her insides hardened, she could hear the blood rushing to her head as the background faded away and all she could see was the body of her beloved as he lay dead in the foyer of the Vongola mansion.

The next day Stella was slightly clingy. She latched herself onto him the minute he came into her vision and stayed there for the most part of the day. She didn't even leave the office, even when it was time for Guilia's training, the raven head did not move, prompting her lover to look at her in confusion.

"Stella, shouldn't you go?" the Light Flames user grinned at him and shook her head. Alaude shrugged, happy to get her all to himself. He did make use of the time he got in a way that left both of them quite sated, before she left to check up on the kids.

Alaude made her way to the staircase when suddenly he heard Elena call his name.

"Did you see Stella? She didn't come to training today."

"She is with the kids. I though you knew she would be skipping today." Elena bit her thumb, a worried expression on her face.

"Did something happen?" the Cloud shook his head and thought back to her behaviour today. There had been a sort of desperation around her, a reluctance to be parted with him. She had kept glancing at him and a relieved expression had crossed her face when she ascertained that he was still there.

"She has been acting strange today," he decided and Elena opened her mouth to reply when the very subject of their talk appeared from the hallway. Both of them stopped talking and tried to act as if they just saw each other.

During dinner that night, Elena and Alaude kept exchanging concerned looks from over the raven-head's shoulder, which grew when they noticed that she was eating so very little. After dinner the couple was on their way to the orphan's room when suddenly she stopped.

"Signor, I have to go see Primo," Alaude shrugged and turned towards the direction of the Sky's office.

"Alone," Stella added. The skylark just sent her a measuring look.
