Discclaimer: I do not own KHr! If I did, Let's just say that incest would have been the running theme of the manga.

The next day, Alaude, Elena, Daemon and Giotto were navigating through the alleyways of the city, looking for La Casa Orfana. After an hour of roaming around and irritated Daemon spoke up, "Geez, blondie, do you even know where we are anymore?" A tick mark appeared on the Cloud guardians face and he replied in a cool voice, "I know the way better than a melon." The tension in the air thickened and Giotto was about to interfere when a sweet voice rang in the air, "Signor Investigatore!" they saw the speaker standing there, still in a purple trench coat. Vongola Primo and Elena shared a look which was unnoticed by the two remaining guardians.

Alaude felt an unexplainable sort of 'relief' at seeing the young orphan again. To his amusement, she was still wearing his coat. She probably understood the reason for suddenly animated look because she turned pink which only served to heighten his amusement. Still the valiant girl greeted him, "Ciao, Signor." The skylark simply nodded his head in return. Stella looked behind him and saw the others. Immediately her expression became guarded and her countenance became slightly cold.

"And who are these ospiti?" "This" Alaude said gesturing to Giotto "is Vongola Primo also known as Giotto." Stella's eyes widened, "You left out the part about being associated with the Vongola, Signor. But nonetheless," she turned to the Sky Guardian and curtsied, "A pleasure, Primo." Giotto smiled and returned the greeting. She did the same with Daemon. When Elena was introduced, the aristocrat noted that there was some sort of natural charisma around the girl, the kind which was hard to find, even among royalty. Additionally, the raven haired girl was way too well-mannered to be mafia. Generally Mafioso didn't bother with proper etiquette and posture but the girl seemed quite well-versed in these topics.

As they reached the entrance of the orphanage Stella turned to them and said, while biting her lip, "Before we enter I would like to confirm that none of you, I mean not a single one, will inform the police or the Church of this place. And" she seemed hesitant, as if this was a shameful topic. "Kindly do not make fun of my family. I know, compared to yours we seem like amateurs but –" She was cut off, surprisingly, by Alaude. "Don't worry la fillette, no one here will out you. And anyone who makes fun of the kids will find themselves at the wrong end of my handcuffs." The other Vongolas startled at the not-so-subtle warning and stared at the Cloud.

Stella smiled at the skylark who once again felt the same 'relief' he had felt earlier. She opened the door with a flourish and all the inmates suddenly quietened. Guilia, recognizing one of the intruders smiled wickedly and went to hug the skylark all the while exclaiming loudly, "Fratello! You came to see Sorella! When is the wedding?" the Cloud Guardian blanched at the statement while Stella was blushing as red as a ripe cherry. The former recovered quickly and sent a conspiring look to the younger girl. "Should I do it now, bambina?" Stella turned towards him with flaming cheeks and sputtered. "Y-you –you wh-what?-What are you saying?!" she shouted bit towards the end and the two shared a smirk.

Giotto and Elena were looking, dumbfounded, at the whole situation. Alaude, ever serious and aloof Alaude, teasing a girl, almost flirting with said girl. Daemon was the one who voices their suspicion. "Run for your lives, the apocalypse is coming." His Boss and his Lover looked at him and saw that he was muttering to himself in Italian.

One of the kids pulled at Giotto's mantle and looked at him, confused. "Who are you?" Primo smiled softly and bent to the kid's level. He said nothing but held out an apple from the bag he had been carrying and held it out. The kid looked at Stella, who nodded her head and them smiling, took it from the mafia boss. "Grazie" he said and ran off. This prompted the other children to run over and surround the guardians, demanding their share.

For the next few hours, La Casa Orfana was filled with sound of unrestrained laughter, both of children and of adults. Giotto handed over a child, who kept trying to chew his mantle, to Guilia, who was in charge to disciplining the inmates, apparently, and looked around. Elena had a group of young girls gathered around her, listening raptly about the proper ways of being a Lady. A group of younger kids had surrounded Daemon and were ambushing him with questions about his and Elena's relationship. "When are going to propose?" seemed to be the most frequent question. Poor Daemon was the most flustered anyone had seen him in public. And Alaude.....Alaude was accompanied by Stella and was constantly teasing the brown-eyed girl. It was so refreshing to watch the stoic skylark bickering with their hostess like the teenager he was, that Giotto had to smile.

'I trust you to not break his heart, Stella.'
