A/N: I am soooo sorry for not updating sooner. I had an important exam so I was busy preparing for that. Please don't stop reading this story, your reviews and likes literally are the only things keeping me sane and happy these days. The last two months sucked so I have been getting really good ideas. This will probably have around 10 or so more chapters. The main pairing will be going canon soon so stay tuned!

Stella's routine for the next few weeks remained pretty much the same- wake up, wake the kids up, get them ready, have breakfast with them, join Alaude in his office to help with paperwork, lunch, supervise Guilia's training either with Elena or with Daemon, have dinner with the guardians, walk around the estate (usually with the skylark), go to bed, the next day, repeat. It was a blissfully peaceful routine and Stella figured it was bound to break one of these days. Oh boy she was right.

She sat there at the very end of the table with Alaude. Giotto had called a meeting and they were just waiting for the Lightning Guardian, who had been assisting the garner, to come. Lampo slipped in apologising and took his seat beside Knuckle. Giotto cleared his throat and the atmosphere of the room turned serious. "Now then, let's get this over with. Elena, Stella," he glanced at the two females. "Garcini Famiglia will be hosting their Annual Autumn Ball soon. The two of you will be coming along with Daemon, Lampo and I. Garante Quinto has been skittish lately I want to know why an ally is troubled." "Roger, Primo." Stella saluted while Elena nodded. Giotto shot them a smile and turned to Asari. "What news of the Zabini's?" the swordsman nodded, "The Carcini Famiglia was threatening them but we negotiated between the two. They are both safe now."

Giotto continued, "Lastly Garrick and Demelza have put in requests for advanced training. They are both fifteen and part of the Rain unit. Garrick is studying healing while Demelza is a spear-user. They will be displaying their abilities next weekend." The Guardians were excited, of course, it was the first Advancement test they would be examining. After discussing a few more things, the blond Sky dismissed them and they headed towards their own destinations.

Stella was as usual going with Alaude to his office when a voice called her name. She turned and saw the Rain Guardian running towards her, his robes billowing. He reached her smiled. "I have something for you." He glanced at his fellow Guardian. "Alaude-san would you mind if I steal Stella-san for a bit." The skylark looked clearly displeased but allowed the two to talk, going his not-so-merry way. The Japanese musician felt his robes (who knew those robes had pockets) and brought out a piece of folded parchment. "The wife of Don Zabini had a personal maid. She gave this to me and told me to give this to you along with the phrase 'passion of ice'." Stella sighed in relief, "Adela."

The Vongola Rain looked confused, "You know her?" Taking the parchment the Light-Flame user smiled. "She is a former resident of La Casa. Every time someone leaves we exchange a sort of code- phrases, numbers, inside jokes. If they wish to contact us they simply have to get the code to us." Asari nodded and politely excused himself. On her way to the Cloud's office, Stella opened the parchment-

'Dear Stella

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I got your message about moving to Vongola. Honestly, what were you thinking? But I will save my judgement for a later date. Right now there is something crucial you should know. It's a trap. The Zabini's are in with the Carcini's. They pretended to feud with each other in order to gain information about the Vongola. It seems they will be teaming up to start a war. I pray you stop this war.

With all my love,

Adela.'

Stella stopped dead in her tracks. Did these Mafiosi have no pride? She immediately retraced her steps to the Sky's office. He seemed surprised at her appearance and grew worried at seeing her solemn expression. "Stella? May I help you with something?" the raven-head took a deep breath and told him of the recent events. His face morphed into rage and then deadly calm as her story progressed. When she completed he said, "Don't worry, we will handle this. Send Adela our thanks." She weakly smiled at him and hurried back to the Cloud office, knocking listlessly at her door. The skylark appeared at the door to let her in and frowned at her worried face. "What happened?" she repeated the tale again, relaxing visibly now that she had been promised a solution.

Alaude shrugged, "it will be fine now Spiky is on the case. He has a certain penchant for saving the damned from death. Pinky-idiot and smiley-swords being prime cases." The raven – head chuckled at the nicknames but heard the unsaid 'and me' in his voice. They had settled into comfortable silence when the blond broke it. "I have to say, you had me quite worried, when you came in with that scary expression."

"Sorry," she replied automatically before her mind processed the words. He was worried about her? Sweet mother of marshmallows! He was worried about her! She could have danced a jig right then and there. "I thought something happened with the kids." Oh so he was worried about the kids. Stella felt too lifeless to even get up now.

He glanced at her covertly and held in a smirk at seeing her dejected look. She literally wore her heart on her sleeve and it was so amusing to see her changing expressions.

They continued their silent companionship until Stella began to clear up; it was time for Guilia's training. She had just reached the door when the skylark's voice called out. "We will be going out tomorrow, wear something appropriate." And that was that. Stella nodded and was outside the door before she fully processed his words (her mind seemed to be processing everything slowly today). Going out to town..... Was it a date? The raven-head turned red.

Nah, it was probably official work or something.

So is it a date? Is it? I want you all to comment the Tenth Gen Guardians as hosts from Ouran High School Host Club. Just as fun.
