When Giotto suggested that the kids move into the Vongola Mansion, Alaude wanted to hit his boss. The mansion was certainly spacious, but it was in no way safe. At least once a week some Famiglia attacked it. Not to forget, the Guardians themselves sparred with each other regularly destroying a whole wing at a time. He was putting innocent lives in danger! "That would be perfect!" he heard Stella exclaim and raised an eyebrow at her. Quite adept to his facial cues she explained, "That way the kids will never miss you. You will all be there with them. Besides I've heard that the Vongola Mansion is very well protected and-" Here was cut off by the skylark. "The mansion is shielded because it attacked so often. That place is not for civilians."

The raven head chuckled darkly. The look in her eyes was not very different from that of Daemon Spade when the illusionist toyed with his prey. It was slightly intimidating to see that expression on the sweet girl. "Ara, signor, have you forgotten? We, all of us in La Casa Orfana are mafia bred and tested. We have survived wars on our own. Besides the kids are all proficient in their chosen weapons, some of them can even produce flames if trained properly. We are not helpless, you know." The Light flame user smiled a sickly sweet smile and the two Guardians shivered.

"Well then, Signora Stella..... What's your full name?" the raven-head giggled and said, "Stella is fine, signor." Giotto nodded sheepishly and started again, "Signora Stella, we of the Vongola Famiglia humbly invite you and the little tykes to grace us with your presence at the Mansion to stay until an undeterminable amount of time. Do you accept?" Struggling to keep a straight face Stella replied in a solemn voice, "I do." They remained serious for a second and suddenly curst out laughing. Even Alaude had a small smile on his face. Breathless with laughter, the Sky guardian said, "Did-did-did I do it ri-right?" finally calming down Stella replied, "A bit too ceremonial but nicely done."

She turned to the skylark, "So, Signor Investigatore do we have your approval?" Her face did not show it but for some reason she was really nervous asking him this. It just made her feel happy to think that she would live in the same house as him. Even if she saw him every day there was this desire of hers to get even closer to him, to peel of all the layers of him and see him what he really was. It was a bit obsessive of her but that was what he was to her, an obsession or more precisely, an addiction. If he shot her down now it would be kind of depressing.

The Cloud guardian did not know all this (snarky Snape-like voice in my head- 'obviously, he isn't a mind reader, idiotic girl.') and he merely smirked and nodded. Immediately Primo and Stella started jumping up and down, grinning like idiots. Really, his boss acted like half his age sometimes. "We should go or else Guilia will kill me, slowly." The other two chuckled at this; the little brunette had the skylark scared. Although to be fair, the green eyed orphan was scary when she got angry.

They made their way back to the orphanage to find it in complete chaos. Apparently G and Knuckle had thought to put the children to sleep but the little ones refused to listen to them. So here they were catching one child at a time and swaddling them in blanket so they couldn't escape again. The red-haired man at his wits' end and was contemplating pulling out his gun when the party of three arrived.

Within seven minutes all of the kids sans Guilia were in their beds, snoring away. The Storm guardian looked at Stella with newfound admiration, "My salvatore! How did you do that?" the raven-head just giggled quietly and replied, "Ages of practice, signor, ages." Guilia firmly refused to go to sleep without her sister so she was assigned the duty to make sure the rest of the kids weren't faking sleep.

Outside, Stella was saying goodbye to the others. "I cannot thank you enough for your help, all of you. Grazie mille. If there is anything I can do for you please, tell me."

The skylark's voice came, "No need. Just keep the kids and yourself alive."

The raven-head shot him an annoyed look, "I can do that without you telling me, signor. Beside aren't you the one who couldn't move during the fight today?" she shot at him childishly.

"Oh?" a pale blond eyebrow was raised. "Who was the one who got captured in the first place?"

"Only because you weren't paying attention to your surroundings."

"Well you weren't paying attention either, were you mon cher? As I remember you were quite busy staring at me."

Stella went red and was about to retort that she had most definitely not been staring at him and admiring his pale blue eyes of his fine platinum hair and his angular face and.. Oh screw it! She had been staring at him, more like ogling him. Giotto cleared his throat and said to the raven-head, "Shall we expect you by tomorrow evening?" the still slightly pink girl replied, "That should be fine. We will have enough time to pack." The Guardians called out farewell and went their merry way. Alaude lingered a bit and whispered something in the girl's ear which made the blush return full force. He joined the others and they made their way back to the mansion.

Back in the alley Stella was flustered and cursing the stupido alieno for what he said in her ear.

"By the way, mon cher, you look quite appealing wearing my coat and blushing so sweetly. Maybe I'll see you in my dreams like this tonight. À bientôt."
