Who Are You Now?

Wait! Please don't leave me behind.

Don't leave in this state of mind.

Where is my childhood friend.

Who said to stay to the end.

Who would goof off with me.

Not care about what they see.

Who are you now?

Your new creased brow.

You are not yourself any longer.

Where is the girl that was much stronger?

The one that hugged me late at night.

Who said I'll always be alright.

My best friend has gone missing.

You left me here just wishing.

Who are you now?

Your new creased brow.

You are not yourself any longer.

Where is the girl that was much stronger?

Who has taken you away?

I only want you to stay.

Where are you now?

Your new creased brow.

You are not yourself any longer.

You have always been so much stronger.

Who is my childhood friend?

Who said to stay to the end?

Who are you now?

Another really personal poem. In case you haven't noticed, the poems in this book are a lot more personal then my first one, and my second one. I think that is because as I continue to write poetry I get better at expressing my emotions. I hope you like these as much as I do!

Thanks for reading! I hope to get some feedback!
