I lie awake at night,
Thinking about you,
With tears on my pale cheeks,
No one knows I still feel this way,
Because I am fine during the day.
But when the dark of night closes in,
It reminds me of how you are now always stuck in the dark.
Never again you will see the light.
Never will I kiss your head again.
Your spot in my heart will always be there.
You are mine, no matter what.
The dark of night closed in,
I am thinking about you.
I lie awake at night.
