Grown Up

Rolled up rugs,

Reminders of childhood hugs.

Dust blowing off it,

Like the memories buried within it.

Worn away from my many soft step,

The one that was never swept.

Rolled away and replaced,

After a long change in taste.

Rolled up, and thrown away,

Grown up, and changed ways.
