Goodbye

92 12 3

Sharp intake of breath,

Wave and watch as you left.

The train pulls from the station,

Gone to fix life's creation.

My legs are numb with sorrow,

How you wont be here tomorrow.

The tears flow of their own accord,

As the captain calls 'all aboard'.

The train starts up on the track.

I think about when you will come back.

After many sleepless nights,

Without you to comfort me from the frights.

I let out a deep sigh,

My hand waves goodbye.
