The last chapter was private so this chapter will pick up from there but there were no major plot moments in the last chapter.
Lance's Pov
When I finally came up from O-space I was in the tight embrace of Keith and Shiro. They smiled lazily at me before kissing my cheeks. I kissed both of them before trying to squirm out of their arms. The keyword is tried, Shiro let me go willingly because he is a reasonable person, unlike Keith who is Mr. Unreasonable Hot head. He tightened his arms around me before growling, "Keith I have to go see pidge I can't stay in bed all day" I was trying to reason with him. My words went in one ear and out the other like always, dumb mullet. Shiro sat up o his elbow, "Why do you need to see Pidge so early, it's like 6 am," he had the most adorable confused look on his face. I smiled before kissing him quickly causing Keith to pout some more like the angsty, emo teen he is. I replied after pulling back," We all know that gremlin isn't asleep and I need to be scanned in a pod because suppressants have side effects," I finished before looking down. Shiro had a sad look on his face and Keith slowly released my waist from his death grip as he sat up. Keith kissed my neck," Do you want us to go with you and how the hell did the pods not scan you and find out your an omega," causing me to laugh nervously. I scratched the back of my neck," NO it's ok I want to spend time with Pidge I've missed her and the reason is the only time I was in the pod was when it's scanners weren't working after Sendak attacked the castle the other time I was kinda dead so Allura had to treat me herself," both of their mouths hang open. Shiro gasped," WHEN THE FUCK DID YOU DIE WHERE WERE WE!," oh no space dad cursed I'm in trouble. I looked anywhere but his face as I jumped out of bed to get dressed. Sadly before I could leave the room Keith stood in front of the door, "Ok Keith was with Krolia getting taller than me and you were busy being dead floating around in black" I sighed. Shiro quickly goes up to hug me tightly along with Keith," Seriously babes I have to get to Pidge, I'm ok don't worry get some sleep you both need in it," said before kissing both of them. They let me go before saying they will talk about it later, I left the room to head to the pod room which Pidge tends to fall asleep in because it is her computer works best according to her. When I get there it was like she knew I was coming because a pod and a suit were ready. She sat on the floor with her "baby" on her lap half asleep but still typing. Pidge looked up sleepily before pointing at the suit while rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Getting the message I go to change while she continued typing. Being on the team so long everyone has seen other team members half-naked so we don't really care anymore. There are limits though Pidge and Allura, of course, don't change in front of us and the boys have to much respect(and fear) for them to keep their underwear on. I wince as I pull the bodysuit over my sore bum, "Man they sure did a number on the ass of your didn't they", I blushed as I turned to see Pidge smirking. I laughed,"As you'd wouldn't know come on you gremlin let's get this over with and language," I said as I walked towards the pod. She rolled her eyes getting up walking towards the control panel, "Ok, Shiro you will be in there for 15 minutes the results though will be out in 2 hours", she joked before closing the pod on me.
Le time skip
Third-person Pov
Lance fell out of the pod to find Pidge asleep on the floor next to the pod in his jacket. He picked her up and walked to the common room. He dimmed the lights as he laid down on the couch with her on his chest. She woke up slightly and spoke softly, "I was scared I was going to lose Matt when he started to use suppressants he was so skinny and sad," tears welled up in her amber eyes. Lance wiped them from her eyes as he replied," I'm sorry about this Pidge I never meant to hurt you too but I guess I was scared and my head told me it needed to be done for me to reach my dream, after all in Cuba omegas aren't fighters", He had a sad look on his face. Pidge sat up really quick and grabbed something only to put it on Lance's head, the object was the green headphones Lance always stole from her. Pidge smiled, "Next time your dumbass head gives you self-destructive thoughts put these on and listen to some peaceful music", she finished before pressing a button on the headphone. Soft piano music filled Lance's ears and Pidge laid back on his chest still in his jack. Lance smiled softly wrapping his arms around her running his hand through her hair, "Goodnight Katie," he whispered as she slowly started to fall asleep. He closed his eyes and just listen to Fur Elise by Beethoven peacefully.
