This chapter will center around Pidge and Lance after they returned from the fight.

Third-person Pov
The walk back to Lance's room was painfully silent and to the usual two busybodies, it felt unusual. Lance walked slowly as if just moving his legs took all the energy his body could produce. Pidge walked slowly behind him, a million ideas flew around inside her head but she couldn't find a solution to the problem. She knew Hunk was probably arguing with Shiro at the moment as he was more protective of Lance than anyone else he, the omega is his best friend and basically family after all. She knew Keith was either training or fighting Shiro himself, the young alpha caught between his anger at Shiro's decision and the anger he felt towards himself for not helping or preventing the situation. In general, he was just an anger angst person right now.
Allura and Coran aren't human so they might not understand what's going on and on top of that they didn't see what happened, the only people who did aren't talking to each other. Lance is probably going to either break down or drop which isn't something she has much experience with outside of the 2 times with Matt. In much shorter terms, she felt useless. Pidge hadn't realized they had reached their destination until she almost ran into Lance. The pair stood Lance's run, which seemed cold nowadays since Lance had been spending his night in the alpha pairs room.
Lance turned around and with a tight smile said," Well this is my stop thanks for walking me Pidge thank you for updating my armor you can go be all smart now ", he patted Pidge's head. Instead of being relieved that Lance seemed ok Pidge felt an overwhelming sense of sadness. She slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, "Lance stop hiding behind that smile, please", she spoke softly before burying her face into the white of his shirt crying softly. Lance stumbled back until his knees hit the bottom of his bed than he fell backward pulling Pidge with him. The omega wrapped himself around Pidge," It hurts Katie they don't believe in me they think I'm weak, maybe he was right omegas are only good at home but I've worked so hard to get where I am", his voice spoke as he cried softly.
It felt so weird to hear him say her name in such a heartbroken voice. Pidge tightened her arms around the crying boy as she softly ran her fingers through his hair. For a moment she hummed the melody a lullaby whose lyrics she couldn't remember," I don't know who "he" is Lance but he is wrong, Shiro is wrong, you are so strong Lance every day you do the impossible and I have always believed that you have protected us at the extent of your own health, and not a single day passes that I don't wish I had the willpower and strength you have", she sniffed as she shook from the overwhelming amount of emotions she was feeling.
They laid in each other's arms until they both ran out of tears. Lance started fidgeting with Pidge's hair making her giggle at him. They grinned at each other," Feeling better boo", Pidge asked Lance. The omega laughed," Yeah a little but I broke a rule, yelled at my alpha, and I could use some O space, but I can deal with that later", he replied truthfully. Pidge paused for a second," You know me and Hunk can carry out punishments if you don't feel safe having Shiro or Keith do them and as for O space there is a pressure point I can press and we can cuddle while your down", she spoke cautiously.
Lance patted her head and smiled down at her," I know Katie but I don't want to think about it too much now and to be honest cuddles sound nice", he spoke slowly as if he was hesitating. Pidge smiled and nodded," can we scent mark each other before though I know I haven't presented so I'm not an alpha but you smell like home," she fidgeted and blushed. Lance's smile widened as he brought his wrist up to Pidges neck rubbing it gently over her scent glands. Her eyes seem to light up as she hurriedly does the same. After they were finished the pair signed contently," Lean your head to the side so I can reach the pressure point", Pidge spoke tiredly. Lance obeys and the tech genius reaches around the pressed down the two top vertebras of the omegas neck. Instantly Lance's eyes glaze over as he starts purring, the pair snuggled closer to each other and fell into a peaceful sleep.
