As the sun spilt across Jisoo's room, her eyes blinked to see Jennie already awake.

"What's going on?" She muttered beneath the covers, her eyes peeking out.

Jennie was tightening her belt, "I'm on my way. Like I said, if I stay in one place for too long, I'll get caught. But it's been fun."

Jisoo scratched her head, remembering the night before. "So you didn't enjoy last night? I guess I'm just a one night stand?"

"Your ego is too big, Jisoo honey." Jennie giggled beneath her breath as she grabbed her things. She grabbed her gun, making sure it was loaded.

Jisoo tore the sheets off of her.

"Please don't go. Please, please, please."

Jennie lifted an eyebrow, questioning Jisoo's maturity.

She stroked Jisoo's head. "Don't worry, you'll probably see me in the newspaper one day. I'll be moving fast, all across the country. I can't stay here."

Jisoo whimpered.

Jennie pulled a strand of Jisoo's hair. "Listen to me. I am superior and I say no." She let go of the jet black locks before opening the window.

"Promise me you won't die?" Jisoo cocked her head as Jennie sat on the windowsill, one leg out and one leg in.

"Promise." Jennie swung her other leg around and hopped on the roof. Jisoo followed after.

"Well that promise won't last long."

"What do you mean?" Jennie said, angered.

"You can't jump from here. It's too far up! I'll lead you down the stairs."

"Oh shut your Disney princess ass up." Jennie grabbed hold of the side of the house, sliding down the gutter. "Besides, I don't really like girls." Jennie took off towards the woods, not turning back once.

Jisoo ran down the stairs and out the house, watching her one night stand walk away from what could of been truly something.

Those last words hurt.

She didn't like girls? Then what was last night all about?

Jisoo ran towards the entrance of the woods.

"Jennie!"

Jennie turned around.

"What do you want, princess? You want me to run into your arms and accept your ring and then have ten kids? Is that what you want?"

Jisoo was taken aback.

"I brought a bag of food for you, actually. But the ten kids sounds nice."

Jennie grabbed the bag of food. "Yeah right." And she turned on her heel.

"You won't even say thank you?"

Jennie sighed. "What do you want, Jisoo? I'm tired of this!"

"I don't want you to go alone, you could get hurt." Jisoo turned around and she had a backpack on, ready to join Jennie on her mission.

Jennie laughed. "No, no, no! You are so not coming with me. You'll get hurt, or even jail time."

"Please?"

"No. I'm going alone. Have you ever heard of independence?"

"I'm coming with you."

"JISOO! What will your grandma think?"

Jennie started through the woods, Jisoo by her side.

"Well...can I tell you a secret? That's not my grandma, that's my mom."

Jennie stopped in her tracks.

"Oh yeah...because I'd love to have a liar on my team. I trusted you Jisoo, and you threw that vulnerability in the garbage."

Jennie stepped over a log, Jisoo close at her heels.

"Okay, so it was one fib-"

"There can't be any fibs if you're rolling with me. Either turn back or don't." Jennie pointed at Jisoo's house.

Jisoo exhaled, taking in the deep woods at the crack of dawn.

She looked Jennie in the eye.

"I promise I won't lie to you anymore."

Jennie stared at her, listening to the birds chirp.

It was at least a minute until Jennie nodded and continued walking.

It was a silent walk, and Jisoo was okay with that.
