It was a rather cold day, and being soaked from head to toe wasn't helping much.

Jisoo treaded behind Jennie, as always, water dripping from every part of her body.

"I wish I brought a change of clothes..." Jisoo groaned.

"You'll be fine." Jennie smiled, moving forward.

"What if I get frostbite?"

"It's like 60 degrees." Jennie rolled her eyes but Jisoo didn't notice.

Jisoo started rethinking her choices. Why did she follow this criminal? Does she really want to be caught and thrown in jail just for a kiss from this girl?

It was so strange, what was she thinking?

"I have to turn back." Jisoo suddenly blurted.

Jennie hesitated. "What do you mean?"

Jisoo stood her ground, a million thoughts racing through her brain. "I have to turn back, now."

Jennie turned around, stopping in her tracks as the sun began to go down.

"Jisoo, what are you talking about? I didn't choose this for you...you did."

Jennie moved an inch closer, trying to grab Jisoo's hand and calm her. But Jisoo stepped back, her hands up.

"Get away from me. You are a criminal. My mother must be worried sick, why am I such a fool?" She was beginning to think out loud, shades of yellow painted the sky.

Jennie smirked. "Fine. Go then." She turned on her heel, Jisoo felt extreme de ja vu.

"I don't know what way is home." Jisoo squeaked, nervously.

"Neither do I." Jennie continued moving forward.

Jisoo felt a hot tear sting her cheek. She was afraid, it was getting dark, her mother was probably talking to the police right now wondering where her daughter is.

And then she felt a hot sting in her shoulder.

Someone had shot her.

Jisoo screamed, rattling the greenery that circled the forest. Jennie sung herself around, running towards the weak girl.

"Jisoo! Oh my god!" She laid her over, examining the bullet. Blood was beginning to spill out. Jennie stood up, scanning the trees.

"Who's there?" She spoke clearly, her hands not even shaking. "I'll shoot your brains out."

No sound. Not even a falling leaf.

Jisoo cried in pain. "J-Jennie! I'm gonna die!"

"No you're not." Jennie cleaned up the wound with water from the river and a t-shirt. It was going to get infected most likely.

Jisoo was too weak to speak, she felt hopeless as she lie there. She felt incredibly vulnerable and embarrassed.

"I've been shot before, luckily it didn't kill me."
Jennie spoke as she washed the wound.

Jisoo felt her vision growing black. "Jennie! This is the last goodbye, I can feel myself drifting..."

"You're just passing out, when you wake up we'll be somewhere safe. I promise."

And with the most unpromising words in the world, Jisoo felt her world collapse in darkness.
