Finn stirred, eyes opening little by little. His body felt cramped and his neck was stiff, the side affects of sleeping on a bus seat.

He looked to the person next to him, she was staring out the window.

Finn rubbed his eyes, sitting up straighter. "Why didn't you wake me up?" He asked, noticing the sun had risen.

Millie turned to him, glad to see he was awake. "You were on guard duty most of the night, i figured you were probably exhausted, so i let you sleep." She answered, "We still have two hours ahead of us, this bus stops in Massachuesetts." Millie began to explain, taking out the map.

"We'll stay there for two days or so to restock on food and get proper rest. Then we head to Connecticut, from there New Jersey, and finally Pennsylvania." She reviewed

Finn nodded, trying to process what she had said despite not being fully awake.

"You can go back to sleep if you'd like, i'm not tired, but you clearly are." Millie suggested.

Finn shook his head, "It's fine, i wouldn't want you to be bored the whole ride anyways." He ensured

Millie gave a grateful smile, reaching out to hold his hand. It was a habit she had suddenly picked up.

"Well let's waste time." Finn suggested with a smile.
"I spy, with my little eye-"

"Finn, really?" She sarcastically asked

"Yes really, let me continue. I spy, with my little eye something.....green." He spoke

Millie looked out her window. "That tree, or that one, or that one, or the grass. Basically everything outside." She said, noticing that was the stupidest thing he could have said considering they were driving by the forrest the whole way.

He stayed silent, "NEXT GAME..." he suggested but Millie was already pulling out the book she bought with her.

"Noah, wait up!" Sadie yelled, out of breath. "I know you're trained for this kind of stuff, but i'm not." She gasped, almost crashing into a tree.

Noah laughed, they had just started walking through the forrest and she was already tired. He stood, waiting for her to catch up. "It's walking. We're literally just walking. That does not take any skill whatsoever Sadie."

She rolled her eyes, hopping over a puddle of mud. She could feel bugs crawling over her. "I hate the outdoors, i'd rather be in my tech room." She complained

Noah shrugged, "We wouldn't be here if you had just let them see the USB. We could've explained it." He bought up.

Sadie avoided his gaze. "It was Caleb's order. What was i suppose to do? I would've showed them eventually." she reasoned.

Noah continued walking ahead, shaking his head in disapproval. "Sadie, i love you, you know that. But sometimes i wonder if Caleb implanted some brain washing device on you. Why do you always do what he says? Why do you always follow the rules and orders. You shouldn't do everything a person says, imagine where this world would be if all we did was follow blindly."

Sadie kept walking, knowing he was right but not having an answer.

"It sure as hell wouldn't be like it is today." He continued

Sadie stayed silent.

She always did was she was told because she was just like that.
Following the rules because it got her out of trouble. Her parents had raised her like that.
