chapter 10

Coco' s POV

"Coco?!" I hear Matt yell from upstairs. So my real name is Corrinne but I don't like that name so the boys either call me Coco or Rinny. They all call me Coco though. I live with Sydney and Nash because my dad died when I was 13(16 now)  My mom moved to Taiwan after he died and my brother enrolled in the army. I've known Sydney since I was born, literally her and her mom were in the room and we have always been best friends.

"What?" I ask when he finds me watching my favorite show

The Walking Dead.

"Wanna go to the fair?" He asks sweetly.

"Sure! Just let me get ready." I replied

"Why? You look fine." He smiled.

"Haha. Well I'm still gonna get ready." I said.

"Be fast!" He called after me. I waved him off and skipped over to my closet. I pull on my Magcon infinity crop top, some short light wash shorts, and my favorite snapnack I stole from Matt.

"Okay I'm done." I say running up to the door.

"Then let's go!" He said pulling me out the door.

The walk there was quiet. Not like an awakward silence but a confertable one.

"Sing for me." Matt said stopping dead in his tracks.

"Huh?" I say, confused.

"Sing for me." He repeats.

"Here?" I ask. He only nods his head. Okay? I think. I look him dead in the eye and start.

I sang the entire song. I chose Stay With Me. He stares at me for a few seconds and then all of a sudden I feel his soft, warm lips on mine and I close my eyes. We stand there on the boardwalk just in front of the fair, kissing for a few minutes. I pull away for air and he looks at me and says,

"Coco?"

"Yes?"

"I love you." He says. I bury my face in his chest and hug him as tight as I can.

"I love you too." I whisper.
