Chapter 6 - Run Up On Me pt. 2

::Ski's POV::

I finally got the strength to open the door. I dreaded The Cage, I hated having to see him in the there. He was my best friend and I went behind Carlos' back every time I saw him to devise a plan to either escape or just kill Carlos all together. His obsession with the Netherrack has gone too far. I knew he wanted to kill Jahseh, and I wasn't going to let that happen. I just didn't know what we would do.

We were met with cold air when I opened the door which made Andy's hair blow back.

"Shoo..." She said, looking nervous.

"Ya ready?" I asked.

"As I'll ever be." She responded and took a step through. I grabbed her arm and pulled her back into a hug.

"I'm sorry." I really didn't want her to go through with this but Carlos... Until I have a set plan, I'm powerless.

I let her go and closed the door behind us. There were cages everywhere, all of them filled with people who Carlos thought were Netherracks. He trained them once a week and tested them once a month to keep them strong. The strong ones got special privileges and the weak ones got worked to death or put to death. It was test day today and even though Andy just got here, he wasn't exempting her.

Wam!

The noise caught me off guard and I looked over to see Andy's body falling over. I caught her before she hit the ground. I heard a snicker nearby and my eyes met Anah. We used to be a thing until she started sucking up to Carlos. She had this sick thing for me, whenever I came around, she put on her most devilish behavior to get my attention. She saw me with someone else and got jealous and hit her.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked after I laid Andy down.

"She was in my way, Stoke. Oh what do you like her now?"

"You better stay the fuck away from her in here."

"Oh I know. Or else you'll spread Carlos' cheeks wiiiiiide open and suck his ass and tell him what a bad girl I've been." She mocked. Before I knew it, I had her slammed against the wall with my hand around her neck. And not in the sexy way, I kinda wanted kill her, but I had to wait until Jahseh and I had our plan together. He could kill Carlos and I could kill Anah. And everyone else here for that matter.

"We. Are NOT friends. And if I find that you did anymore shit to her, you will die in this cage, get it?"

"I always did love it when you get aggressive." She giggled and licked her bottom lip. Something has gone wrong with her, she wasn't like this when she first got here. She was nice and sweet, kinda like Andromeda. But Carlos kept telling me to give her these pills, and as a result she started expressing characteristics of a Netherrack. After Carlos saw they were working, he kept feeding them to her and her personality started to drain and she became the exact devil he wanted her to be. He favored her because she was his first 'creation'. He said if he couldn't find a Netherrack, he'd make one, and he made this devil instead. "If I can't have you no one can." She pushed me off of her and left.

"Bitch." I shook my head and turned back to Andromeda. "Andy. Andy can you hear me?" No response. I had to get here out there before Carlos saw. I picked her up and carried her to the test cage but Carlos crossed my path.

"She can't walk?"

"No she can, but Anah hit her and put her out."

Carlos shook his head. "That's not a good start, Stoke. I'm afraid she might not make it around here." He said and walked away. I sighed and opened the door to her cage. I wanted to stay with her, but Carlos wouldn't allow that. I felt protective of her and even though she could protect herself, she was vulnerable right now. And these bitches that he kidnapped and drugged are vultures. They relished the opportunity to fuck someone over no matter what state they were in.
