::Andromeda's POV::

I waited for Ski to come back. My plate was filled with delicious fruit but I couldn't savor the flavor due to the silver bowl of blood Olivia brought in. I unseated myself and slowly made my way over to it. It felt familiar. I looked into the blood, and Anah's reflection appeared. I tried to fight the urge to drink it, I felt guilty that I was the reason she bled this much in the first place. My mouth watered and it was getting harder to resist by the second. My hands shook as I picked the bowl up and put it to my lips.

Shit, Ski's coming!

I started to panic and set the bowl down. I ran to the back and searched for a to go cup and straw. I found it and a little to go box for my fruit and ran it back to the dining area. I poured the blood into the cup carefully but swiftly, trying to pour it all into the cup before Ski came back in. I put the lid on and rushed the bowl back to the sink and rinsed it out. By the time I got back to dining area, Ski was coming through the door. I smiled nervously and put my fruit in the to go box.

"Is she alright?" I asked after a few moments of silence. Ski sighed.

"I gave her a shot which usually cures all the problems here, but she's still shaking."

"She's as good as dead." I whispered to myself. "That's not what I wanted, I didn't want to kill her. I--"

"Woah, you didn't kill her. She's not dead." Ski cut me off.

"Yet." There was confusion written all over his face. "I've seen this in my dreams, she's going to die." I picked up my to go plate and headed towards the door. I picked my cup up, trying not to focus too much on what was inside.

"What's that?" He asked, looked at my cup. It was white styrofoam, so the red tint could be seen with the help of the light. I had to think of something quick.

"Just some fruit punch from the fridge, I hope you don't mind." I lied.

"Nah, it's alright. You wanna stay here and finish eating or go to your room?" Ski replied.

"I'm okay to go now." He opened the door for me and we walked down the hallways to my room. I made sure I payed attention to the paintings on the walls and the different color doors. When we arrived, Ski opened the door for me and I thanked him and sat my food down on the night stand next to my bed.

"You good?"

"I'm great, thanks."

"Cool. Call me if you need me." He said and started to close the door after him.

"With what phone?" I asked with a hint of unintentional attitude. He turned around with a raised eyebrow. "You guys must've taken it."

"See this button?" He pointed to 1 of the 4 buttons that was behind my door. "This one is the 'Call Ski' button. This red one is the 'Call Carlos' button--"

We won't be using that button often.

"Agreed." I said to my conscience. Out loud. Ski stopped and turned around, wondering why I said 'agreed' while he was explaining buttons and I bit my lips.

"...Anyway, these 2 buttons don't work anymore so only use these. And you can have your phone back when you can be trusted not to try to reach out to someone." Ski said and let himself out.

"Wait." I said without thinking. He stopped and turned around. "Can you stay?" He stood still, undecided. "It's just I'm a little bored and I'm not used to this yet." He tilted his head and closed the door and came and sat on my bed and we talked about any and everything. I turned the tv on as background noise and finished my fruit. He told me about his past and the truth about his friend Jahseh and how they ended up here. He told me the truth about Carlos' obsession with the Netherrack and what his true intentions were. I told him a little bit about me and he pretty much officially diagnosed me as a Netherrack. I told him about Paris and asked him not to tell Carlos because I didn't want him to go after her, too.
