My eyes popped open.

How many times am I gonna wake up in this girls bed? I thought to myself. I sprang up and rubbed my forehead, feeling like I'd just drank 7 energizers. I got up much faster than I anticipated, so I got lightheaded and had to catch my balance before I fell over.

But if Andy knew that I knew her friend and... I have to keep that to myself. Let's just say getting intimate with Paris was more than just a dream... more like reality.

I felt around in my pocket for my keys and found that there was only 2 sets when I usually carry 3, mine, Jah's, and keys to doors like the back of the cafe, the cage room, Carlos' office, etc. I pulled them out to see which one was missing and it was Jah's. Neither he or Andromeda were in the room anymore so I assumes they got it when I was asleep. I stood up stretched and headed off to my room. I saw Anah sitting by herself, looking angrier than ever and part of me wanted to ask what was wrong, but the logical side of me told me to stay out of it. I dodged Carlos as well and got into my room with minimal interaction. I kept hearing beats... like heart beats, like I had in earbuds playing a thousand heart beats at once.

I brushed my teeth washed my face and changed my clothes, including my durag. I put on a white durag first, then a red one, red shirt, white pants, and red shoes. When I touched my clothes, I could feel the tiny details of the fabric. The feeling was weird yet satisfying. I never paid that much attention to the way my clothes felt in my hands.

While I was in the bathroom, I just stopped in the mirror and examined myself. My skin was more radiant than normal. My eyes looked the same, but my eyesight was so much clearer. I noticed every tiny speck in the mirror that I otherwise would've missed. I stood as still as possible and faintly, I felt my blood running through my veins. I took a step back from the mirror, like that was supposed to change something.

I was about to go look for Andy and Jah but I decided to try out our connection. From what I over heard from last night, all I have to do is think about her and I'll know something. Location, action, emotion... I thought for about 3 minutes, but her location didn't come to me. Just as I was about to give up and go find her, her action became clear: she was sleeping.

::Jahseh's POV::

I hadn't realized I had dozed off until something disturbed my sleep and made my eyes open. I never woke up like that unless something my spirit didn't agree with was in my presence. I almost snapped my neck checking to see if Andy was okay, but I found her sleeping on the floor next to me. But someone was sitting beside her. I wiped my eyes and looked again to see Anah sitting next to her, stroking her hair. I sat up so quickly, I startled and awoke Andy.

Anah looked like she cooing a baby. Her hands were gentle on Andromeda's face as she tried to calm her down. Had I not known better, by the way Anah was looking at Andy, I would've thought they were a couple.

Andy almost hopped out of her skin and into my lap once she realized what Anah was doing.

"Wha- wha- what the hell are... what are you doing?!" Andromeda said with her hand on her chest, out of breath from being scared.

"You shouldn't be afraid," Anah said with a soft, motherlike smile. "I'm not trying to hurt you. I don't wanna fight right now. I just wanna know why you killed her." Her voice was oddly calm to be asking why Andy killed her friend. Andy looked at me and I looked back at her not knowing what to say. I shrugged my shoulders with an "I can't help you" expression. After a moment of hesitation Andy tried her best to answer.

"Well... she tried to fight me and... I bit her. I didn't mean to kill her. I'm sorry." She forced herself to apologize. Anah looked as though she actually understood.
