Vampire Girl

Chapter 8

Opening her door, she saw nothing different but something was annoying her.it was like something was there but she didn't know what it was. She stood still in the doorway and thought about it for like five seconds and then continued to her wardrobe. She opened the door and got out a small, red and black backpack. (It used to be her school one but then she changed). She unzipped the big pocket and started to rummage through some stuff in her wardrobe. She picked out an outfit- a plain black, long sleeved shirt, a short red skirt, a pair of black leggings and a red cardigan. She put the outfit neatly on her bed and walked back over to her wardrobe, this time, she grabbed a blue torch from one of the shelves and a necklace in a small bag. She packed the torch and took the necklace out if the bag. There was a gold and purple charm of an elephant hooked onto a gold chain. She took the elephant off and replaced it with the key that she had secretly stashed away between the bars under her bed and the mattress.

She grabbed a couple of band aids and a bandage and smacked them inside the big pocket then picked up the bag and hid it behind her door as she walked to the kitchen. She opened her big pantry and looked all the draws up and down. She picked out a couple of items and tucked them into her short's and jacket's pockets. Being very cautious, she ran back to her room and emptied all the food out of her pockets. She had already put her bag back on her bed and started to pack some more stuff. She packed a packet of chips, two milo bars, a packet of Oreos and a snack pack of Shapes biscuits into her bag and zipped it back up.

The black clock finally ticked over to five and Ella's dad arrived back from work. He was really tired and didn't even notice Ella at all. Ella was all packed and ready for the night ahead of her. She knew that tonight is the only night where she can because of school and other stuff so she was pumped up and ready to go.
