I slowly went out of bed because of this stupid alarm clock that's been bothering me for quite some time now. Guess I need to prepare now for school. Or should I attend school? Maybe I should just so I can forget all that happened this past few days.

"Kevin!! You smashed the clock again. How many times should I tell  you to-"

"Fine fine, I need to take a shower now okay so can you please?"

"Just be quick okay." She said as she went out of the room without even bothering to cloase the goddamn door. That alarm clock thing that she always nags at me every morning though. I'm really sick of it but I can understand because of the unbelievable amount of clocks that I smashed. But I just can't help but to use my power to silence that annoying clock. 

I got out of bed and directly went to the bathroom at the back part of my room while repelling the door and pushing the lock to close it. I can manage this simple tasks but if I use it at a large scale.........never mind I'll just ruin my day because of this thoughts.

I immediately took a shower and wore my clothes. Just a black shirt and skinny jeans will do. Then I picked up my black leather jacket to match my clothes. Then I headed out but quickly went back because I forgot my bag. Its just a small bag for my things. Not that special. Oh how I wish my power is attraction in this kind of situation. Maybe I'm just too lazy lol.

When I reached the dining room, I was greeted by the smell of fresh pancakes. I hurriedly went to a seat and ate my breakfast. As I was eating I saw Vale standing at the side of the table and silently chuckling. He is my personal butler and he's  just about my age. We're not that close though but I think he somehow understands my situation because of our age similarities.

"Why don't you eat rather than chuckling obnoxiously?"

"How kind of you young master Kevin but I'm perfectly fine."

"Oh please that young master sh*t. Just quit it its annoying."

"If you insist then I will gladly accept your offer, Kevin."

He slowly pulled a chair directly opposite to me and then ate the pancakes. I opened  my phone to check a new updated episode of my favorite anime but I was shocked when I noticed the time. I'm running late considering the traffic because its Monday. I immediately stood up and grabbed my bag. I didn't even bother about the food. The maids will take care of it.

I went to the garage and saw that the driver is already waiting at the car that I will be using. I immediately went in.

"Let's go."

"Excuse me young master but I suppose there is another person whose coming with us today."

"What?"

I heard a knock at the backseat window and saw Vale standing in there. He opened the door without even asking me which surprised me because butlers aren't supposed to do that even if he's my personal butler.

"Excuse me for my rude behavior Kevin but I was ordered to accompany you to your school since I will also attend that school with you from now on."

"What? Did Mom order you to attend school with me? Why? I thought you just receive home school as part of your contract."

"Yes Kevin I  am ordered by Mrs. Hamilton to do home schooling as per our contract until recently because of your safety concern. We are going to be on the same school and section as my transfer was already taken care of. See I have a bag too hahahaha. And by the way, Mrs. Hamilton told me to inform you that the recent incident was already taken care of."

So I will be going with him to school starting from now. Doesn't make a difference. We're not even close so I could just ignore him. 

We reached the stop light from last time which made me recall that incident. I hope that child is fine by now. If I didn't intervene that time then she would literally be in pieces. Maybe I can just use this power for that purpose too. I mean its quite satisfying to save a child whose about to be run over by a truck. The light turned green so we started moving again but just as I was about to look at the street, I noticed that a car is still accelerating to our direction from the road which is supposed to be stopped right now.

I didn't hesitate and immediately repelled the car from colliding with our own. I can feel the intensity of my power as the glass facing that car which is at Vale's direction shattered as my eyes felt numb because of the vast amount of power that I just released within a short amount of time. The car slowed down but my force wasn't enough to make it stop which made me release more power. 

"K-KEVIN P-PLEASE STOP I'M GETTING CARRIED AWAY BY THE FORCE."

I was shocked when I heard it faintly from Vale but stopping right now would lead to our demise. I need to completely stop that car. It is just a few meters from hitting us but I can't afford to lose control right now. Our lives are at stake. I need to find another way.

Suddenly, the memory of saving that girl crossed my mind. The feeling of saving someone even if it means using this power that I despise so much. That moment when a bullet almost killed me and my family. If I didn't do anything that time then the three of us will be dead. And right now. Even if it means using this power. Even if it means throwing away all bitterness that this caused me. I will gladly accept it as long as I can save the people around me. 

I took a deep breath before accepting the full potential of my power. All these years I have been rejecting it which caused me to be out of control when using it despite hating it. It makes sense now. All I have to do is to accept it so I can completely take control over it. And to treat it as if it is a part of me not a possession of mine. 

I concentrated my power to the very center of the car as it is about to hit us. I can feel the power rushing through my veins as I release it. Fear is out of the situation anymore.  Its now or never. There's no turning back.

Just as I was about to unleash my true power. Just as I thought everything is in my control. This feeling again. 

Everything stopped.

And I can feel my powers fading as if being stripped away from me as I saw a little girl standing at the pavement intensely looking at me.
