Lets begin the game

Chapter 9

Coras pov.:

I wake up at 6:30 am and I got to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and I wash my face.

I look at myself in the mirror. I look tired, angry and determined.

I put on some black jeans and a white t-shirt. Over the t-shirt I put on my black leather jacket and I take my black military boots out of my closet. I braid my hair so that it looks like a crown. I don't put any make up on and I take my bag and make my way down to the kitchen.

I sit next to Ryder and I feel how all eyes are on me. I look at them and I say in a voice as cold as ice "Do I have something on my face?" No one responds. "I thought so. Stop staring at me if you don't want that I break your pretty little face of yours"

I take an apple and I start slicing it I hear how Tadashi mumbles "Someone is in a bad mood today"

I reach behind my back and I take out my gun and I slam it on the table. I look up dead serious at Tadashi "Do you want to see what I can do with this?"

He freezes and looks at me horrified. "Good. So just that y'all know, I'm not your friend, I'm your boss. You work for me, that means I won't hesitate to shoot you if you annoy or disrespect me"

Everyone is shocked and I stand up and take my bag. Before I walk out of the kitchen I say "In 5 min is everyone in the garage"

I walk downstairs and I take the keys for the range rover. I hear how someone is following me and I sigh and turn around.

Ryder is standing there with a worried expression "Cora tf was that? Are you ok?" I grin devilishly "I have never felt better"

He looks at me hurt and scared "Cora why are you being like this? I thought you stopped this two years ago. Please talk to me"

I look uninterested at him and I shrug "I'm just being myself"

Ryders pov.:

It's scary seeing her like this again. She turned all cold again. My only question is why? What happened yesterday?

The last time she had a panic attack was 6 years ago and it wasn't that bad like yesterday.

The others come into the garage and we get into two cars. Xeno, Neo, Gael and Alec are in the car with me.

At first the car ride is really silent but then Alec breaks it "Uhmmm Ryder can I ask you something?" I nod "Sure"

He hesitates a long moment before he asks "Why is Cora like this? She's always kind and calm"

I frown and I sigh "I wish I knew exactly what happened but it's not the first time she's like this. She was really cold blooded and angry but I begged her to stop that and she kinda did"

Gael sighs "But what happened to her?" I clench my jaw and I mumble "It's a long story"

Xeno, who's sitting in the passenger seat, looks at me "You were there too. Please tell us what happened ?"

I start breathing heavily and I shiver a little "I-I ca-can't" Neo puts his hand on my shoulder and looks at me worried "Dude are you ok?" I calm down and I nod "yeah..."

Alec asks shyly "So will you tell us what happened?" I sigh "First I'll have to fix Cora" Everyone is quiet as we reach the school.

I park the car and everyone goes their way. I have to talk to Cora again before class starts...I just have to.

I see her entering the building and I follow her. There she is standing against her locker.

I lean my shoulder against the wall next to her "Cora we have to talk" She shuts her locker and she looks at the floor "There is nothing to talk about" I slam my hand next to her head and I come really near to her face "You always do this...always...You become this cold hearted monster and you start terrorising anyone who cares about you. You have to stop, you're just breaking yourself even more!" I grip her shoulders and shake her a little "Cora you have to talk...Please"
