I would be leaving for Japan in just a few short days and before I did I wanted to spend all my free time with Aliah. The day before had been the first snow of the season, but we had been otherwise occupied at her apartment and neither of us had wanted to leave. Today though, I had forced Aliah out into the cold and she was making sure I knew it was against her will to be outside braving the harsh winter of Korea.
"Brrgh, it's so cold out here," she told me for the tenth time while trying to resist a full body shiver by snuggling up close to me.
I looked down at her with a smile and then did a double-take when I noticed her clothes.
"Yah! What are you wearing in the winter time? This jacket won't keep you warm at all. Come here!" I wrapped my arm around her and started rubbing my free hand over her shoulder, trying to create enough friction to build up some warmth.
"Why don't you have a coat? This jacket and cardigan combo thing you've got going on just isn't working," I admonished her as she shivered again.
"I couldn't fit any coats in my luggage when I first came to Korea, so I thought I could just buy some when I got here. But I ran into a problem with the sizes," Aliah sighed and huddled even closer to me.
"Really? But you're not big though. Why didn't anything fit?"
"I have arms like a chimpanzee, that's why," she complained and stretched out her arms in front of us. "Nothing that fits my torso fits my arms. So I'm just going to freeze."
"Cha, no you won't. We're going shopping," I said in my best no-nonsense tone.
"Now. Right now?" She hesitated as we walked along the street and I pulled her back to me, propelling her forward.
"Of course now. You'll be an icicle if you stay outside any longer without a proper coat." I plucked at the useless fabric again huffily and hustled her along on the sidewalk, looking for prospective stores.
"I don't think this will work; I must've been all over Seoul already and couldn't find anything worth buying," she insisted but I couldn't help but scoff.
"Yeah, but you've never been with me before. Trust me, I'm almighty Key remember, top fashionista among the idols."
"Ugh, how can you brag about yourself like that," Aliah said in mock disgust.
"It's not bragging if it's the truth," I told her with a smug smile. "Kaja!"
We continued walking as I looked around for one of my favorite shops, certain that I'd be able to find her come really good items. It was a new experience shopping with someone other than SHINee's stylist; I was excited to make Aliah into my own little doll for the day.
"Jagiyah, please, no more. I can't do it again!" My girlfriend was pleading with me and rubbing her hands together in supplication, her bright eyes filling with tears.
"Aigoo, get off the floor! You'll get those pants dirty and we're not buying them... they make your butt look too big and we can't have that now can we," I said chucking her underneath the chin cutely as she pouted.
"But KiBum, this is the 12th store! I'm tired," she said and rose up from the floor and onto the plush sofa the shop kept in their dressing rooms. "How many more outfits do I have to try on?"
"You said you needed things to wear for winter right? Winter lasts for three or four months. You can't just buy one or two things," I nagged intentionally, enjoying her complaining more than I should be.
"But Bummie, I've got three coats, six sweaters and seven new pairs of jeans. I don't know how many long sleeve shirts you stuffed into the bags when I wasn't looking. I've got plenty, I swear. If we go into another store I'm going to pass out from hunger!"
"We haven't even really begun, but I can see you're a lightweight." I clicked my tongue at her dismal expression. "You would've never made it as a stylist. Do you have any idea how long it takes to shop for five guys, all with different tastes in clothes? Not to mention color-coordinating all of them."
"Yes, Kim KiBum you are amazing and wonderful and very talented. Now can you feed me already?" Aliah finished my praises in an exasperated tone.
"Alright, let's go. But no complaining if you get cold again. Hurry and put on your red jacket. I like that one on you the best."
"That's only because you picked it out," she said while still pouting. Instead of agreeing with her very true statement, I helped her put the coat on and fixed the collar to lie straight.
As I did up the zipper, she looked up at me with a smile and I couldn't resist giving her the small kiss she seemed to want.
"Okay, let's go to feed our baby," I said while grabbing her waist with one hand and our multiple bags in the other. If I fed her now, she would surely be willing to model some of the clothes for me at the apartment, and from there anything was possible.
A/N: More to come guys, I hope you're enjoying so far! <3
