Sehun stood up when he heard a knock on the door, and shooting a glance at Baekhyun, he went to answer it. Chanyeol stood on his doorstep soaking wet. The rain had picked up considerable, leaving him nearly drenched in the short amount of time he had been standing there.

Sehun smiled thinly and stepped aside to allow Chanyeol inside as he muttered, "Baekhyun's on the couch, and if you make him cry again you're dead."

Chanyeol nodded and muttered, "I don't intend on hurting him . . ." before he pushed pass Sehun and slowly made his way to Baekhyun.

Sehun closed the door quietly before leaving the room.

"Baekkie . . ." Chanyeol said. "Can we talk?"

Baekhyun merely nodded and Chanyeol thinly smiled. He stopped in front of Baekhyun and immediately knelt down onto his knees, his hands reaching out to clasp Baekhyun's as he bowed his head. "Baekkie. I love you so much and I hate that I feel the need to remind you." Chanyeol glanced up briefly to gauge Baekhyun's reaction before dropping his gaze once again. He sighed.

"I'm kneeling here before you now to tell you how sorry I am. I never should have gone back on my word. I know how excited you were and still are at the thought of raising a child together, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't just as excited. But I let your parents words get to me and allowed them to shake my resolve. I shouldn't have done that to you." Chanyeol paused and slowly glanced up at Baekhyun as he continued to speak. "So here and now, I'm asking you once again, will you raise a child with me?"

Baekhyun bit his bottom lip to fight back his tears as he nodded and whispered, "Yes! Yes, Chanyeol."

Chanyeol smiled and opened his arms for Baekhyun, and disregarding his wet clothing, Baekhyun sunk into his arms. He settled onto the floor in front of Chanyeol as he tightly hugged him back.

"Let's file for adoption tomorrow," Chanyeol whispered. "And as we wait to hear news back, let's do everything together. What do you say?"

Baekhyun wiped away his tears and softly replied, "It sounds perfect."
